~~~~Selena's POV~~~~

On Monday evening after school, I was waiting for Conner to come back from track practice, they had to run a 500k then they went for a jog through what everyone calls puke hill, the coach makes you run the whole trail with a few other teams training with them.

I recalled earlier where I had been dropped off by James upon requesting to come see Conner, I had to practically beg him and he only drove me here because I was irritating him, before I got out of the car he hugged me, telling me to stay safe. I smiled and waved back at him after getting out of his Fathers Dodge truck, which I made him take me in instead of his deathtrap of a motorcycle which he insisted on taking me in, but I talked him out of it.

I was sitting on the hood of Conner's mustang waiting for him with my phone in my hand, just in case he called or texted me. I had been texting James for the meantime and we were currently having a debate about which mountain dew type was better Code Red or Blue Raspberry.

Staring at my phone I reread our current conversation occasionally chuckling to myself upon rereading the texts.

"I think mine would be Code Red because I just love the taste of it."

"Your choice is invalid pick another one." James replied and I could practically feel the smirk he was probably giving me while texting that.

"Screw you, my choice is my opinion!" I replied with an lol at the end so he wouldn't think I was yelling at him.

"Okay so how did your first sip of Code Red taste like?" James questioned

"Like heaven in a bottle, like it was my own personal brand of drugs it tasted so freaking amazing I cant even describe it!!!" I replied laughing at how crazy I probably seemed.

" Lol, that's actually my favorite too I just wanted to see your opinion on it first." He replied

"Your as ass." I replied while chuckling

"Babe what are you doing?" I heard a voice say

I looked up to see to my surprise it was Conner dressed in bluejeans and a white T-shirt, holding his gym bad which probably held his track uniform.He stared at me with a raised eyebrow showing he was curious.

"I was waiting here for you to get back from practice, I texted you and told you what I was doing but I guess you haven't seen them yet."

"Sorry babe I haven't checked my phone any." He said while running a hand through his messy blonde hair.

"Want a ride to your house? And I can come over and we can watch a movie later?" He added
