Chapter 18

Megan's POV

My eyes widened in shock as Mason connected his lips with mine. Warning bells rang in my head loudly and I tried to push him away from me. His hands were now trailing down the sides of my stomach.

"Get the fuck off of me, you pervert!" I yelled in disgust as I shoved him off of me. He stumbled backwards on the ground, a tiny smirk on his face.

"Why the hell did you kiss me?!" I yelled at him again, my body shaking in anger.

Mason stood up and wiped his hands in his jeans. "I did it simply because I wanted to."

"You must not value your life as much as you say you do. Ryder's going to have your head on a stick." I said, backing away from him when he came towards me.

I'm pretty sure Ryder felt the kiss through the bond and was already planning Mason's punishment, or shall I say murder. I just don't get why he kissed me. He said he didn't feel that kind of connection towards me, so why would he do it? Is messing with me just a game to him?

"Why can't you just leave alone?" I eyed him suspiciously as he walked around me in circles; like a tiger circling its prey.

"I don't know. There's just something about you." He squinted his eyes at me.

"You're confusing." I said.

"I know." Was his reply.

"Just stay the hell away from me!" I hissed at him, turning around and leaving the game room. I didn't want our arguing to wake up Alicia. I honestly have no idea how she slept through all of that.

I heard him following me and turned around with an angry sigh. "Why are you following me?"

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"Far away from you." 

"You don't have to do that." He continued.

I ignored him and tried to find Asher. Where the hell was he anyways? Oh right, it's past midnight. everyone's probably asleep.

Everyone except for fucking Mason.

"So you're giving me the silent treatment now." 

I rolled my eyes at his constant nagging.

"You act like you're disgusted with me, but deep down I know you enjoyed the kiss."

That was the last straw. My hands came in contact with his neck as I slammed him into the wall, my claws extending into his neck. "Listen here you little pendejo, mess with me again and I'll rip your fucking tongue out like Mary Shaw."

"Getting kinky, are we?" Mason tried to smile at me.

I released my grip on his neck and swung my knee upwards to his face. 

"Holy shit!" Mason fell to the floor holding his now bloody nose.

"Now was that kinky enough for you?" I walked away from the asshole with a smirk.

He deserved what he got. You can't just kiss someone's mate. Especially an Alpha's!

Damn...

Ryder won't take the news well. He'll go ballistic.

Thoughts of how Ryder will react rush through my mind as I enter his office. As soon as I close the door, the phone on top of his desk starts to ring.

Oh shit...it's probably him. Pick up the damn phone!

With a shaky breath, I answered the phone.

"Hello." 

"Where the fuck is he?!" Ryder roared into the phone.

"He's lying on the floor with a bloody nose."

"I'm going to fucking rip him into pieces!" I heard something crash in the background.

"Ryder, please calm dow-"

"Calm down?! You don't know how fucking pissed I am right now. All I can see is red!" Some more things crashed in the background. 

"I'm gonna kill him i'm gonna kill him." Ryder repeated over and over as he broke more things.

I could already imagine how the room he's staying in looks like.

"There's no need to kill him. Well...now that I think about it, you should just give him a good ass whooping. Not kill him."

"I'm gonna kill him." He growled.

Okay he's gonna kill him.

"I can't wait to get my hands on his throat so I can rip it out." Ryder yelled in outrage.

"Killing people is not always the solution to your problems." I said.

"It is for me."

"For you, but not for me. Besides, I handled it already."

"Giving him a bloody nose isn't enough."

"It really isn't, but-"

"I'm coming over there right now."

"Wait what?!" My eyes widened.

"Mason's going to die tonight."

"No he's no-"

I'm cut off by the sound of him hanging up.

Fucking hell!

I know you are all wondering why I abandoned my stories for months. I'm really sorry for that. I lost the motivation to write for a while, but I'm back now. I'll be taking it easy for now so the next update will be next week.
