3:27am the alarm clock read.
I sighed, slowly getting out of bed and retrieving down the stairs for a glass of water. I prayed this would allow me to sleep, but with a million thiughs rushing through my head, it was highly unlikely.
I placed the glass on the kitchen bench before closing my eyes, attempting to relieve the headache that had just surfaced.
"Can't sleep babe?" A soft husky voice called out from behind, making me jump.
"Jesus Christ Isaac, you gave me a fucking heart attack," I replied, turning to see him leaning against the doorway, a smirk playing on his lips.
"You're hearts not beating fast enough for that to happen," he smirked, making his was over to where I was standing.
"Shut up," I mumbled as he snaked his arms around my waist, mine going around his neck pulling Isaac closer, "you know what I meant."
"What are you doing up Y/N?" Isaac asked softly, his face full of concern.
"I couldn't sleep so I came down her to get a glass of water," I replied quietly, "I have slept at all actually, there's too much o my mind."
"What kind of things?" He asked, pulling both of us towards the chairs by the bench, settling me on his lap.
"Oh you know the usual; pack business, my brothers mysterious disappearance, Allison's death, the baby.." I trailed off.
"You know you can talk to me about anything right? You don't- wait. A BABY?" Isaac's eyes widened.
"Y-you're pregnant?" Isaac asked with tears in his eyes.
"Yes, I'm 4 weeks along," I smiled at him.
"Oh my god, were going to be parents, I'm going to be a dad," isaac whispered with happiness. "I love you so much Y/N, I am going to love this baby will all my heart and-"
"Isaac," I giggled trying to get his attention.
"I'll teach him how to play lacrosse, but what if its a girl? Eh, I can teach her how to play lacrosse too, oh my god I can help teach him how to walk and their first word will be daddy-"
"ISAAC."
"What?" Isaac asked, snapping out of his trance.
"We can talk about this later, we need to get some rest," I yawned looking up at the clock. 5am.
"We have school in three hours."
"Can't we just skip school? I would like to stay home with my beautiful girlfriend and peanut."
"Peanut?"
"You know, the baby," isaac blushed, "the baby is about the size of a peanut right?"
I nodded in response.
"So I'm calling him peanut," he smiled as I giggled.
"Alright dork, let's go to bed," I shook my head before dragging him upstairs and into our shared bedroom.
"I love you baby girl."
"I love you too Isaac," I smiled before drifting off for some much needed rest.
