"you ready dude?" nate asks.
"no, what if she says no?" I start to panic.
"do you have feelings for her?" he questions sternly.
"what? me actually like someone? of course not." I try to laugh it off. he thinks for a second before shaking his head.
"it doesn't matter just go ask her." he says shoving me a little.
I was currently standing in the school parking lot next to a horse named lucky. the guy I rented it from said he brought good luck and I can use all the luck I can get. school was about to let out and nate went back inside to lead ash out here.
everyone stares at me as they walk past and a few even pull out their phones and start taking pictures. a couple minutes later I see nate and ash about 100 feet away. she can obviously see the horse and the sign but she can't see me. I pull out the stupid bullhorn nate decided I needed and put it up to my mouth.
"asher gertrude gilinsky will you do me the incredible honor and go to winter formal with me?" I ask once she's a little closer.
"well I can't really say no with everyone watching now can I?" she smirks.
"so is that a yes?" I question.
"of course you idiot." she laughs throwing her arms around my neck and kissing my cheek.
"okay now let's see how far we can ride this horse before the cops pull us over." I smirk helping her up.
