Chapter 3.

Jane POV.

I woke up on the floor in my room naked.
All the memories of the party came back.
I shifted in full wolf mode.
My head was pounding and my chest burned.
That guy.
He did something to me.
One look at him and I suddenly felt like I could breath. I couldn't think.
I grabbed my bath robe and went to the bathroom.
I looked in the mirror and my eyes were still glowing as if I was in wolf mode.
Something stung on the back of my neck.
I lifted my hair and turned around and saw what looks like a freshly done tattoo or symbol?
It was shaped as a 'wolf hook' almost like a lightning bolt with two mini stars on the left side of it on a vertical slop.
What Is that?
A knock at the door made me jump.
Who ever it was let themselves in.
"Trix?" Austin voice called in my room.
"I'm getting dressed..I'll be right out." Shit what do I do? My eyes are still glowing and I have a flipping tattoo on my neck!
"Trix?" Austin sounded concerned.
"Just a minute!" I called.
"We really need to talk about last night."
Fuck. What else did I do?
I walked out and Austin sat on my bed waiting for me.
"You don't seem like your getting dressed."
Shit the robe. I smiled awkwardly.
"Ahh, listen Austin I don't know what happened last night."
He patted the bed.
I sat down knowing full well I was half naked.
"You kind of shifted."
"I know that part."
He bit his lip. "Well we finally got you home and got you dressed after you shifted." He paused. "Then you kind of..ah.."
"I did what?"
"You kissed me."
I chocked on the spit in my mouth.
"What!" I said hysterically.
"Then you shifted and ran off again."
Oh my god I can't believe I done that!
"I'm..so so sorry Austin."
He frowned at me. "So you didn't mean it?"
I frowned back. "I don't know what happened. Something happened to me and I can't explain it."
He looked hurt. Why?
"Ok..cool that's just..um." He got up and was about to leave.
"Austin?"
He turned slightly. "I thought..."
What was he trying to say?
He shook his head and left the room.
Please of the love of god that he doesn't..love me.
This can't be happening. Not now. Not after what happened last night.
What even happened!
What else did I do?

Nick POV.

"Shit." I said to myself.
I had a massive headache and my vision barely focused.
"Dude your up!" Ryan hovered over me.
"Thank god!" Jie sighed.
"What happened?" I looked around and I was in my room on the floor with a towel on me.
Shit I was naked!
"Don't worry man." Ryan said trying to calm me.
"What happened to me?"
They looked at each other and shrugged. "We don't even know our selves. You pretty much went all wolf on us when you saw Jane."
Jane. Yes it was her. It all was.
She did something to me that made me lose control.
"She did something, like some sort of.....I don't even know."
Ryan frowned. "Dude she went all wolf as well last night. After you left she pretty much followed you into the woods, why?"
"How am I suppose to know!" I yelled.
Ryan put his hands up. "We need to talk to your dad.."
"No! My dad won't want to hear about this."
"Nick that bitch used some weird shit on you, you have to tell your dad what she did."
I got up. "But we don't know for sure if she did anything to me. We have to go to her."
Jie scoffed loudly. "Yeah like we are just going to walk right in the main bloody  quarters and ask for Jane, as in "Jane"the next Alpha? That totally a great idea Nick." He clapped.
"Fine I'll bloody do it myself if it's that terrible." I began to get up.
I kept in mind that the towel was the only thing that could cover me up.
"Wait man!" Ryan called. "We'll come."

I quickly got dressed and we headed out.
We got to the main gate of the main quarters.
Guards waited with rifles.
"Dude there are guards with guns!" Jie hissed.
"Yeah no shit." I said sarcastically.
Why so much security? What could be so sacred that they had to have guards with guns and possible cameras?
"Let's go around." I said.
"Oh brother." Jie sighed.
We snuck around; Ryan acting like a spy but rolling from bush to bush and signalling in morse code.
I smiled at him. "Ryan would you stop acting like a complete---"
"Austin wait!" The sound of Jane's voice stopped me in the middle of my sentence.
Her 'Austin' friend stormed out of one of the doors and into the rose garden.
"Let it go Trix." He said annoyed.
"Jeez Austin stop!" She growled.
Her higher power kicked in and her friend stopped.

"What do you thinks going on?" Ryan asked me.
I shrugged. "How am I suppose to know?"
What ever was happening Jane looked really upset, her friend on the other hand looked like he wanted to be anywhere else but there.

"Please Austin just talk to me." She said in a more calmer voice.
"What is there to bloody talk about Jane? You don't feel the same way--" he paused for a moment. "You..ah" he leaned in and sniffed her.
Why was he sniffing her? The fuck?
How close he was to Jane really irritated me, I wanted him far from her.
"What the hell?" She said.
"You've been claimed or at least will be." He paused, his eyes darkened. "Who have you been with!"
She looked more confused then ever.
"What are you talking about?"
He grabbed hold of her shoulders.
"You have a scent Jane! A male scent that you've been claimed, what the hell!"
She flinched I sense she was distressed.
How am I able to do that?

I had enough of the bullshit.
I ran out from the bushes.
"Nick!" Someone called behind me.
I slammed my fist into Jane's friend and he collapsed on the ground.
Jane yelp.
The sound of her voice distracted me from my anger towards her friend.
"It's you." Her voice said so quietly and delicately.
I frowned at her. "Are you alright?"
I suddenly cared how she felt.
She nodded slightly. "I'm fine."
"Jane who is this asshole?" Her friend said holding his jaw.
She growled at him. "I'm about to find out.." She looked up at me. "I'm sorry but who are you?"
"Nick. My name is Nick." I said lamely.
She touched the back of her neck.
'Nick. He's the one at the party.' There goes that voice again. 'What did he do to me? Did he feel the same pain as I did?'
"I did felt the pain." I said out of the bloom.
She eyes widened. "You read my mind? How?"
Ryan and Jie came out of hiding.
They both stared at me like I was some sort of alien.
"How the hell are you able to do that in your human form?" Ryan said eyes wide with confusion
It was Janes voice I was hearing?
"I don't how...its just keeps happening."
Jane stepped forward. "You are able to read my mind without being in wolf form, is that a gift you suddenly developed?"
I nodded in response.
"We have to ask uncle, he'll know what's going on."
They all started to walk in the main building when I realised that I'm actually not allowed to be in this area.
"Yeah I'm not too sure about that, last time I checked I'm a Octavia."
Jane shook her head. "My uncle will understand."
I fucking hope so.
