"So, Janey Baney." Nick said with a grin on his face.

Oh god what now?
With Nick it can't be good.

"What?" I said grouchy.

He laughed. "Aye don't get your panties in a twist, I just wanted to make conversation."

I rolled my eyes to him. "Oh I'm sure."

Nick sped up, we were going 95 in a 60 zone.
"Bloody hell Nick slow down!"

He laughed again.
Is he psychotic?
I gripped on the seat and waited for Nick to snap out of his little episode.
But he never did.
"Nicklas!" I shut my eyes.

We came to a hard stop.
My entire body went forward.
It felt like my brain crushed in front of my skull, that my heart jumped out of my chest then went back in.

Nick started laughing and clapping his hands.
"Now wasn't that fun!"

I growled furiously and got out of the car.
Slamming the door behind me and started walking.

"Oh come one, it was a joke, I knew what I was doing."

"I don't give a shit Nick! You scared the hell out of me and you say now it was a joke?
What the fuck is the mad with you!"

He rolled his eyes. "We were sitting in dead silence, I needed to do something."

"Why couldn't you just put on some music, or just start talking not nearly kill us huh?"

He nodded and smiled.
"I kinda like my way better."

"Nicklas."

He clocked his head back and sighed.
"I'm joking miss serious, besides you should lighten up."

"Don't call me that." I mumbled.

He laughed and we got back into the car and drove at the normal road limit all the way to Nick's house.

Nicks house, I mean mansion was how I expected it, just like the main quarters it was very modern but Classic at the same time.

The mansion was black stone with bits of red and silver on some parts of the house.
It had a massive driveway towards the house surrounded by fresh green grass and calm trees and so on.

Before we reached there was a sign back at the gates, that said 'Samuels Property.'

The house was just as pretty as it was outside.
Black marble floors, velvet red coloured walls, and a massive stairway, which lead east and west.

I felt Nick's hand brush my back a little, I flinched.
He directed me into a large sitting room.
A little girl was sitting alone at a table reading.

"Hey Adela, what are you reading?" Nick asked.

The girl look up and grinned from ear to ear.
"Cousin Nicki!"
She ran up and hugged him, Nick smiled and lifted her up.

"How's my favourite she-wolf?"

"I'm good." She paused and stared at me. "Who is she, Nicki?"

Nick faced me and gave a small smile.
"This is my mate, Jane."

Adela frowned at me then smiled.
"Nice to meet you Cane."

"No no it's Jane." Nick laughed.

Adela covered her mouth and laughed.
"I'm so sorry, nice to meet you Jane."

I gave her a slight smile. "Nice to meet you Adela."

"So you're Nicki's bond mate? no offence but I really thought Nina was going to be his mate." She said crossing her little arms.

Nick have Adela a disapproval look, she swallowed.
"I mean, Nina has been around for years, I just thought they would've been, you know?"

I shook slightly, every time the name Nina is mention I get irritated and annoyed, she tried to take my mate away from me, if she succeeded I would be dead.
They say if your bond is broken you'll die, I don't really plan on dying at 18.

"Well I guess she wasn't lucky enough."

Nick chuckled. "No, she wasn't."
