Chapter 10

I woke up from the cold morning breeze that brushed my back.
My fingers were completely covered in dirt and I'm pretty sure majority of my body was covered in dirt.

I then realised that I was completely naked on the side of the road.
No cars came around, which I was kinda grateful as I am fully naked.

What happened last night? I completely lost control of my wolf, that never happens.

A bag was thrown at the back of my head.
"The hell?"

"Hurry up, put some clothes on."

Nick came around fully dressed.
He turned his back to me as I got dressed.

"Okay I'm finished." I smiled at the clothes Nick picked out for me.
He didn't miss a thing, underwear and bra.
"How'd you know what size bra I was?"

He turned around. "I actually just guessed."

"Do you have any idea what happened last night?" I asked.

Nick squatted down and played around with the dirt with a stick.
"Basically our wolves had a complete out of control meltdown.
I woke up 20 minutes down the road from here, I had a feeling that you were near so I grabbed with I would find and went to go get you."

I nodded. "Why do you think our wolves went out of control?"

"I don't know everything Jane." Nick snapped. "All I know is when you left me my wolf went mad."

"Are you trying to say that this was my fault? I wasn't the one playing around with Nina."

Nick scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Still on about that? Get over it, I can play around with whoever I choose."

Giving Nick a glower look, I got up and walked quietly down the road.

"Where are you going?" He shouted.

"Far away from you."

Nicked growled loudly which made me stop in my tracks.
I knew exactly what he was doing, using his higher power then me to control me, to make me fear him.

"Did you just---"

"You will not leave." He demanded.

"Excuse me?" I walked back and shoved him.
"How dare you try and control me, who the hell do you think you are?"

He smiled. "I'm your mate."

I gave him a deprecate look and laughed.
"Not anymore."

This time he laughed. "We are bonded weather you like it or not Princess."

I growled furiously. "Bullshit, I hate you Nick, you don't deserve a mate."

His eyes glowed to his wolf eyes, his fist in a ball and knuckles white as snow.
He gave a blood-curing growl.

He walked towards a tree and smashed his fist into it about three times and swore.

The way I felt all his anger reassured me, I liked that he was mad, I got to him.
I wanted him to be as mad at me as I at him.

"Why do you have to be so bloody infuriating?"

"I give what I get Nick, you treat me like shit and I'll give it back twice as hard, got that?"

He stared at me. "You know what pisses me off the most?
No one has ever talked to me the way you do, usually people are afraid to talk to me like that..but you..it's like you're not afraid."

"I'm not." I simply said.

He laughed. "Figured, but it also annoys me, because if you were a guy..boy you'll be dead."

I lifted my chin. "I'd take that as a compliment."

"Let's get back yeah?"
I nodded.

We walked back in silence.

"Wait--"

Nick went into defence mode. "What? What is it?"

"You saw me naked?" I said.

He blew out a breath of relief.
Then smiled.
"Yes and what a sexy body you have."

I slapped his arm. "Perve!"

He laughed. "I'm joking, I have more respect for you then that, I have to admit I did see a bit of skin but I didn't stare."

I felt a whole lot better now.
"Good, but if you ever--"

"I wouldn't. I may hate your guts but I wouldn't do that to you, I'm not a pervert, I have a lot of respect for myself and others so don't worry."

"Thank you." I said with a small smile.
