Third Date
Zayne
Skye & I had been seeing each other for about a month but we never actually started dating. We saw each other a lot but stick to chilling at home or out to a diner but never really anything I'd call a date. So far we have only been on two.
Since it was a very warm day, I decided the zoo then dinner and maybe a movie sounded great. I really did enjoy spending time with Skye.
She was funny, beautiful, and liked to chill out. She didn't always need money from me either because she made her own.
But when she became mine, she was going to have to quit The Bunny. I didn't want the future queen of Easton to be a stripper. I'd support her to the fullest.
I got into the car and drove to Skye's place. I called to let her know I was outside and she came out and slammed the door. I could tell by her angry steps that something was bothering her.
It wasn't me though. Was it? Did those strippers tell Skye what we do in my office? They all knew better. Didn't they?
She got into the car, her shoulder purse being thrown into the seat before she slid into the car.
"Wassup ma? You alright?" I asked seeing her body was rigid and tense.
"Yeah, I'm good. This bitch got me messed up. I thought she was my friend and she go turn around and try me!" Skye said, her leg bouncing with every word.
"What are you talking about? Who?" I asked, confused.
"Stormy! She really changed up. Been acting different since like a week ago. She has me fucked up. She go say that I'm a whore like my dead mother. I straight beat her fucking ass." Skye said, "Crazy thing is Genesis sided with Stormy. When I hadn't even done anything!"
"Rio had yo back though?" I asked.
"Duh. That's my best bitch. My only real friend apparently." She said, bitterly.
"What about me?" I asked.
She laughed, "You wanna be my friend?"
I smirked. "Nah ma, I guess you right."
She smiled. "So I'm curious. Where we going? I mean, you told me to wear tennis shoes which is weird.""It's a surprise ma." I said, watching her hook up her phone to the aux cord. "And you bet not play no Meek Mill."
At The Zoo..
Her hand clasped mine while she looked at the elephants on the other side of the small fence. She looked so beautiful in this moment.
Her long straightened hair blew in the wind, her eyes crinkled with her blinding smile, and her body stood out against the gate. It'd be a beautiful picture.
That's something I enjoyed about her, no matter what you did with Skye or for Skye, she was happy with it and grateful. She cares about the small things. She wasn't like these other hoodrats out here tryna dig in my pockets.
"Elephants are so cute." She said, as we walked away from their area.
"You've said that about every animal we seen today." I responded laughing a little.
"There's something about animals, you know? They're so uncivilized yet the most loyal creatures on Earth. They don't go against their own kind." She said sighing deeply.
"What about Lion King? Wasn't that Scar who killed Mufusa? And didn't he try to send hyenas or some weird ass shit to kill Simba?" I asked joking.
She smacked my shoulder, "You know what I mean. People go against their friends and family every day."
"You're weird." I responded holding her while we watched the Polar Bears.
"What does that mean?" She asked touching the glass separating us and the Polar Bears."You're not like any other girl I ever met. You value yourself, you're beautiful, and you don't care about money. You appreciate the little things." I said brushing her hair behind her ear and laying my head on her shoulder.
She didn't respond for a long time. We just stood there in a comfortable silence and watched the Polar Bears swim around the water.
She turned and looked at me, "It's because I know what it feels like to have nothing and nobody. So when someone gives me something, I appreciate it because I know they didn't have too. Plus, you're special. We connect on a deep level. We both are broken. And I feel complete when I'm with you."
I looked down at her smiling face and kissed her inviting lips. I felt goosebumps rise on her exposed back and I wasn't sure what they were from.
I felt so bad thinking about what she just told me. I been dogging her out, sleeping with random strippers at the club. I'd only slept with Amethyst, Diamonds, & Ruby but still that was too much. Knowing she ain't doing nothing like that and to hear Skye say these things, got me smiling.
I had to stop treating her bad, especially if I keep telling she different.
At the restaurant...
I watched her bend over and tie her shoe. Her ass looked fat in the tight ripped jeans she wore and her back dimples showed from under the white halter crop top.
"Them is fly." A girl complimented Skye on her shoes, when she was walking past with her boyfriend, "Those them Pumas by Rihanna ain't they?"
Skye nodded. "Yeah and thanks."
The girl nodded and walked away but I heard her talking to her boyfriend. "That bitch so stuck up."
I shook my head at what she said and I know Skye heard her too. We ignored her and went into the casual restaurant for dinner.
"I love this place." Skye said smiling.
"Good. I remember you saying something about liking Caribbean food." I told her, watching her sit across from me at the high table.
A waitress instantly came to our table, "Hello hello. My name is Amber and I will be served today. Can I start you off with anything to drink?"
I noticed a bar towards the side of the restaurant with many high barstools. There was a lot of high tables and chairs everywhere, as if the restaurant had no order.
"I'll have a Calypso strawberry lemonade." Skye said, handing her back the menu.
"I'll have the blue raspberry one." I ordered.
We sat at the restaurant having a nice conversation. We were talking about the club and the new strippers I had hired.
"Diamonds and Amethyst go get fucked up if they keep fucking with me." Skye said taking a bite of her jerk chicken.
"Oh word? They fuckin' with you?" I asked.
Those bitches was fucking with her because they knew I slept with them. I had to stop this shit.
"Mhm, you go be firing someone soon." She said.
"I really am." I responded knowing I'd have to let Amethyst and Diamonds go.
They made me a lot of money but Skye was taking my heart quickly. I couldn't bare the idea of loosing her.
