A Blind Date
Skylander
"I don't wanna go on no date, Rio." I said for the thousandth time.
"I don't care bitch. You going." She said.
"I don't want too." I complained.
"It's been a month and a half. Almost two." She said.
"I don't care." I said looking at my pink nails.
"You need to get over her." She said.
"I don't think I can. I lov-" I started but she slapped her soft hand over my mouth.
"Bitch don't you dare. Go get in the shower and get dressed in the outfit I have laid out for you." She said pushing me towards the bathroom.
"It's cold outside so it bet not be slutty." I said, looking out the window at the late October landscape.
Orange and red leaves littered the ground while the late sun began casting a luminous shadow over the ground. It was so beautiful.
I got into the shower and avoided getting my freshly done hair wet. I got out and put on some lotion that smelled like Pure Seduction according to the label and pulled on the lacy thong and bra that Rio had laid out for me. It had been a full year since I had gotten laid and obviously Rio was trying to help me. But I knew she wouldn't be getting nowhere.
I slid into the tight black and white checkered knee length skirt and a matching cropped top with an extra length in the back to meet the back of the skirt. I slid the white heels she had set out on and sighed. I wondered what Zayne was doing.
Was she still dating girls? Was she focusing on her gang banging?
My heels clicked against the floors in the bathroom where Rio was seated on the counter. "Make up time bitch."
I sighed again. "I don't want to go."
"I still don't care. You're going end of discussion." She said adding black eyeliner to my eyelids.
"I'm not having sex with whoever it is." I said.
"Didn't ask you too." She said.
She grabbed my face applying the red lipstick, like I was too incompetent to do it myself. She smirked at my face when she was done.
"You look sexy." She said, letting me look into the mirror.
I had to agree I did look pretty damn good once she combed my hair down for me and slicked it back into a tight ponytail with a part in the front going straight down the middle.
But I still wasn't feeling this blind date crap. What if she was ugly? Or looked too much like Zayne? Or not enough like Zayne?
"Get your black clutch so you can leave before you're late to the restaurant." Rio said fluffing my ponytail a little.
She walked me down to my car before getting in hers and driving to her house. I wasn't completely up for this date but who knows? I could still find happiness elsewhere.
At The Restaurant...
I stood at the door debating on entering or not. Did I want to stand this person up? No, I couldn't do that. Imagine how hurt they'd be.
I walked in and walked towards the woman. "Hello, do you have a reservation?"
"I'm here to meet-" I pulled up my phone, "Macon Jones."
She nodded, "She's already been seated. Right this way."
I followed her to a table in the back of the restaurant where a woman sat. She was very rugged and thuggish looking, nothing like I was used too. She had a short fade with a few face tattoos on her deep caramel skin.
