[ FRANCE X READER ] French Lesson

Lets jump right in, cos it's been a while ~

"Francis. I want to learn the French." You lean over to him, on the couch.

"What?" He turns and looks at you, eyebrow raised.

"Teach. Me. The. French." You inch closer to him.

"Alright, alright. Just don't hurt me." He laughs nervously, obviously scared of you getting closer. He turns to you, and you smile.

"Any reason you want to learn French?" He asks.

"Kinda. I've always liked the language. It's very beautiful." He blushes a little bit.

"Ok. Lets start off simple. Do you know how to say hello?"

"Bonjour."

"Great. How about goodbye?"

"Au revoir...?"

"Yes. You actually speak very good French for a beginner. Most people wouldn't know goodbye." He says.

"Oh, gracias."

He cuts his eyes at you and starts laughing really hard.

"Ok. Lets go to phrases. Repeat after me. Où est la salle de bain le plus proche?"

"Où est la salle de bain le plus proche...? What does that mean?"

"Where is the nearest bathroom?"

"When would I ever need to say that?"

"You'd be surprised."

You laugh and smile at him. He looks away quickly. A faint blush appearing on his cheeks.

"O-ok. One more phrase. And the most important one. Je t'aime."

"Je... t'aime...? I feel like I've heard that before. What does it mean?"

"I love you."

"W-what?"

"I-I love you." He blushes even harder.

"U-um... I'm getting confused." He smiles and looks at you.

"Then let me clear this up." He grabs your chin and kisses you gently. You blush bright crimson red, and he pulls away and looks at you. You start to laugh. He looks at you, eyebrow raised, and starts laughing cos' you are.

"I probably look so stupid. I feel like someone smacked me with a hot frying pan."

He laughs, and puts his hand on your cheek.

"You look adorable to be completely honest." You put your hand on top of his and squeeze it gently.

"That was a nice way to confess." You laugh.

"Oh, hush." He pushes you gently and pulls your head to his chest.
