H2O
Trees line
The shore
Softly
Beckoning
Houses stand
In the distance
Full of
Ancient wisdom
Keeping people
Safe
From the elements
As the cool
Wet substance
Hits the clear
Tranquil setting
Rain on the lake
Has everyone
Searching
The heavens
Can we enjoy
A day of swimming
Or
Will the falling
Wonder force
Us to leave?
Breathe in
Fresh rain
