Of milk and honey

With a hookah and a beach

6 hr flight
To the other coast
Visiting
Sexy bitch
And the rest of the
Persian conversion
Plus childhood friend

A new relationship
Dawns on the horizon
Seems exactly what the doctor ordered
And yet
Something's off
Hmmm can't put my finger on it
New Years Eve
Plenty of wishes
Resolutions
The surroundings of close friends
Fun and comfort
Next 5 months
Fly by on angel's wings
With a cruise in April
To break up the mundane
All seems well
Until one day
Coupledom explodes
Assumptions
Accusations
Lies
Sadness
Yet
Relief
A breakup long time coming?
Definitely
Take solace in family
Friends
Group
Single again
Now what?
Just as suddenly
Who is this blonde stranger
I see before me?
So nice and quiet
Seems to like me
Am I ready?
Am I interested?
What should I do?
Quietly without
Anyone's knowledge
We start the getting to know each other
June passes
July dawns as I reluctantly
Embrace dating
Than off to LA
With a rubber chicken
To celebrate nuptials
Of my second oldest friend
Realization dawns that this
Blonde stranger
Means more to me
Then I'm willing to admit
A decision is made
Exclusivity and monogamy
It is
August starts with an ending trip
A first step without looking back
Into something meaningful
A couple
I'm in a couple
Again
Wow
And now September
It is again
School has reappeared
In my life
After 5 yrs
Hard and time consuming
But worth every minute
I smile
This year has brought me
Lessons learned
One door closes
Another opens
That blonde stranger
My sexy man
The most important man in my life
Came along at the perfect time
I can't wait for our future
Tomorrow I let go of
