Finally after a two hour flight with a three hour delay before that you finally reached your destination. You rubbed your hands together from the coldness of winter in this country. Snow started to fall as you entered a rental shop for cars.

"Uhh... Jeg..." You thought hard on your past knowledge of Norwegian you knew. "Jeg trenger en SUV." You spoke as the old lady behind the counter took some keys under her desk and placed it in front of you.
She told you the price in Norwegian as you payed, surprisingly, the same amount. (Translation: I need an SUV.)

"Takk." (Translation: Thank you.)

"Værsågod." (Translation: You're welcome.)

You stepped into the snowy streets staring at the snow that was visible through the shining streetlights. It was a calm winter for today. The night was only accompanied by the smooth sounds of the cold wind that blew your hair.

Then you heard a car that ruined the peaceful scenery. You looked at the streets glaring at the incoming car. It was a white SUV with headlights brighter than the streetlights and a trailer connected behind it. You glared at it but as it was illuminated under a streetlight you saw a familiar face inside. Your mind swirled turning yourself into another version of Nancy Drew. You raced to the rental and drove it out quickly following the mysterious vehicle.

For hours you've been following the vehicle with your iPod playing your favorite songs as you drove. You can't identify where you were. A while a ago you started to document everything with your camera on the dashboard of the rental.

"I have no idea where I am right now, but this is worth it." Your face was filled with excitement and curiosity as you followed the trailer.

At some point you lost it up ahead. You drove faster trying to catch up, but you were blocked by some crossroads. The left lane was blocked with a giant boulder while the right was free.

"You're not tricking me Bondevik, if its you." You learned some obstacles from Alice before. You stubbornly drove towards the boulder as the rental drove right through it. "Thank you Alice."

You drove in further until you reached a small wooden gate with a white SUV next to it. You prepared your camera on a helmet you had. You taped it with duck tape and set out into the coldness with a flashlight in your hand.

"(Full name) here and I finally reached the end of the trail." You spoke. You noticed a sign hanging on the gate as you neared it. Surprisingly it was in English.

Bombing area! Do not enter!

"Bombing area?" You rolled your eyes and jumped over the fence. "Psh. Yeah right, okay folks time for an adventure." You smiled and walked through the eerie woods.

"Okay recap, so I've been following a suspicious vehicle for almost four hours and it's around twelve or one in the morning. The face in the SUV seemed familiar, but just to clear my suspicions I followed this vehicle."

You waked deeper into the woods for almost an hour or so. The cold was getting to you.

Then you heard an explosion up ahead.

"What the hell is that..." You approached the area which was behind a hill, but then you stopped as you saw a figure running down the hill. You shone your flashlight at tge figure and saw the man you've been expecting.

"Lukas Bondevik?!" Even though you were expecting him you were surprised. "What the hell is going on?"

"No time to explain!" He answered. You heard a roar again and looked up at the hill. You saw a large figure carrying a tree. The figure threw the tree at the both of you, but Lukas tackled you down just in time before the tree could've impale you. He helped you up as he grabbed your hand. "Just run!"

"But what the hell is that?!" You ran with him through the ankle-deep snow. "Bondevik, answer me!" You yelled as you grabbed yoir arm away from him.

You heard another roar, but you really needed an explanation.

"To answer your question Ms. (Last name), that thing is a troll now run!" He answered with a hint irritation. You rolled your eyes and ran with him. There were trees being thrown up ahead at your direction. Finally you both reached the wooden gate, but your rental was impaled.

"Aw c'mon! That's a rental!" You complained as Lukas grabbed your arm once again.

"In my car, now." You had no time to argue. You took the shotgun as he took the driver's. You buckled on your seatbelts as he ignited the engine. Before you knew the both of you drove out of the area with the roars of the troll fading away.

"You're not kidding me right? An actual troll was there standing on the hill." Your heart raced from the thrill and excitement that just happened a few moments ago. "I mean-"

"You shouldn've followed me here." He finally spoke as you looked at him seriously.

"Excuse me, but I was looking for a subject for a project." You explained. "Now explain what just happened there Bondevik."

"And explain first how you know my name, (Last name)."

"A friend told me, now how do you know mine?"

"I read minds, I can use magic." He explained. "And you can see through the Veil and see through my tricks. Impressive."

"Thanks, but I don't get it." You brought up the subject again. "What are you exactly doing out here? And what were you doing with that troll?"

He stayed silent as you glared at him. Your glare went straight up to his lavender eyes. You couldn't find any answers or signs of him answering from his expressionless face. He was mysteriousz and challenging.

"Answer me."

"What is your business with me?" He sighed.

"You're my subject for this report and there's no turning back." You stated. "I've seen that event a few moments ago with my own eyes, now answer me."

"God you're irritating." He sighed. "I'm a troll hunter, I hunt trolls." He confessed. "It's a family business and we all do it for a living for the government."

"What? The government as well?" You couldn't believe it.

"Believe it, I work for the government. My brothers and I are descendants of this country's greatest troll hunters."

"You hunt trolls for a living? So why study as a journalist when you already have a career and job opportunity without going to college for it?"

"Those are for personal reasons." You saw his knuckles turning white as he drove. You just hit a vein, but you didn't care. You were stubborn and brave enough to ask questions even though a perosn is angry.

"I'm sorry if I hit a vein, but can I ask you a question."

"What is it?" His words rolled off smoothly as if he calmed down.

"May I join your expedition?" You asked him. "I know that this is dangerous, but I am willing to take the risks."

"Everything is at risk." He answered. "Especially your life."

"Then let me die in vain if you want." You answered firmly. "This adventure is worth the risk."

"You're one crazy woman."

"And I am proud of that." You smiled. "So what is your answer? Will you let me come or not?"

"You're already in my car so why not." He stopped the car and showed a small smile at you. "Welcome to my life as a troll hunter Ms. (Full name)."

I am on the roll! *chapter three ideas dissappeared* Shit! Well stay tuned for the next chapter because this is only a small writer's block so don't you worry!
