The drive was long and quiet except for the radio that announced news in Norwegian. You looked out at the window bored. All you saw was trees. The cons of traveling out was just looking at the same old scenery of trees. Lukas didn't talk much since he was concentrating on some spell that can track the doppler, or it might be his brother, down. The drive went on for almost eight hours, without counting the stops, and you fell asleep at some point.

"Where are we?" You yawned as your scenery finally changed to a valley with the sunsetting.

"Somewhere going north." He answered timidly. "We're almost there. Get some sleep."

"I've already had enough sleep for one car ride, let me drive."

"Are you sure?"

"I can handle it myself." He stopped and car and sighed.

"Fine, I'll take a nap for an hour or so."

"That's the spirit!" You clapped your hands together and smiled. You both exchanged seats. While igniting the engine you saw the helmet floating in a blue bubble in front of you.

"That's the tracking device..." Lukas explained. "Just stare at it."

"But how can I drive when I'm not concentrating on the road?"

"Trust the ball, it will just tell you when to stop or if there's gonna be an accident." You bit your lip nervously. You shook your head and started to concentrate on the floating object and drove the car.

Surprisingly you managed to avoid accidents and driving this thing off a cliff.
Then the ball stopped glowing blue and glowed red. Your eyebrow rose and stopped the car.

"Lukas..." You poked the sleeping man. "Lukas!"

"Hm?" He groaned. "What is it?"

"The ball is glowing red."

"Stop the car. It means we're near their church or something."

"So what now?"

"Lets do it later..." He turned to the other side. "I don't want to just get up yet."

You rolled your eyes, but he does have a good point. You've only drove for three hours while he drove for eight hours straight. You turned the engine off and took off your seatbelt and his. Reclining your chair, you looked out of the window and stared at the dark sky. Stars shone out brightly. You were tempted to open the window and let the cold air in, but the fact that a cult was out there praying to a non-existing god made you restrain yourself.
You sneezed from the cold you got an hour ago and stared outside. You heard that a meteor showers was coming tonight and you did't want to miss it. Being the adventurous one in the family, you inclined your chair back up and got out of the car. You climbed up on the roof of the trailer and waited for the shower to come.

"I hope it shows up here." You muttered hopefully as the stars twinkled. There were some constellations you saw. Ursa minor and major were some that you can identify easily.

"Lyra is on the northeast..." You pointed at the stars connecting them together. Your eyes were stuck on the sky, but your mind was elsewhere. The title, King of the North, was oddly familiar to you. A fragment of the past or something. The title stirred in your head like a whirlpool trying to suck you in.

"Hej!" You heard a cheerful voice from behind. You froze in place shocked from the sudden noise of the stranger behind you.

The meteor shower finally fell with you watching it mindlessly. Your hands balled up as you took the courage to face the man.
Your sucked in your breath as your cheeks grew red.
