"Rain"
"What?" I asked Ethan. I stood infront of him shocked. Why was he here? Why am I only in a t-shirt and boxers? Why can't I just lay down? My fucking body hurts.
"Rain" Ace said coming up behind me. He wrapped his arms around my hickey covered shoulders making me wince. Told you I was hurting.
"Oh. Sorry. Ethan, what are you doing here?" I ask turning to him.
"Who's telling her? Me or you, Ace?"
"You."
"Whatever, your the one who has to deal with her."
"For Christ sakes just tell me" I said throwing my hands up.
"I'm in the gang" I wipped my head around
"What!?" He just nodded.
"Since when!?"
"Highschool" I stared at him like he should be six feet under!
"I'm here to help shortie" he said hugging me. Shortie was my nickname from Ethan, has been for years.
"Help with what? Getting yourself killed? Your skinny as hell Ethan, they'll snap you in half."
"You haven't told her?" Ethan asked looking Ace's way. He looked down and I raised an eyebrow at him.
"How many secreats are there here!?"
"Thanks Ethan!" Ace shouted.
"Oh like you aren't to blame." I said looking at him.
"How do you wanna tell her?" Ace asked.
"I don't know your her boyfriend not me"
"So. Your her brother"
"You chose to date her"
"Your blood"
"Jesus" Angie said coming towards me.
"Come sit with me." I went and sat by her on the couch. She took my hand and placed another over top of it.
"Honey, we are werewolves." I bursted into laughter.
"You just said that to get a good laugh out of me right?" She looked a me with a tiny smile.
"No, I'm serious. Mark, Ethan, Ace, Seth, Lucas, and I are werewolves. Now don't be frightened. We're not gonna hurt you. This gang thing, it's really a pack. Of wolves ofcourse. My ex husband and the kids well they are too. See we can control our wolf, when it comes out, the only thing we can't change it who our mates are."
"What's a mate?" I ask tilting my head.
"Perhaps I'll let Ace tell you that" She said hugging me than getting up to leave.
"It's what? Five in the afternoon? Why don't we go out tonight and I'll explain everything?" Ace said coming over to me. I nodded and leaned up to kiss him.
"Should I go get ready?" I asked.
"No. Mom will you take Rain out to go get an outfit?"
"Sure. What are we looking for?" She asked grabbing keys to the car.
"A dress. An elegant one. From Le' Rosa. Put in on my card. And find some heels. Be back here seven. We leave at nine" He kissed me again before Angie grabbed my arms and pulled me out the door.
