Ace's POV

I sat upright in the bed, Rain's head on my chest, her mark showing with her hair tied up. She was so beautiful, I was so lucky to have her. 

Suddenly, she started shaking and crying. A few seconds later a shrill scream broke from her lips.  I shoke her gently and she shot up. She looked around than looked at me. She hugged me and she wouldn't let me go.  

"What happened?" 

"He ripped me into peices." 

"Who did sweety?" I asked rubbing the hair out her face. 

"Alex. He was carrying my limp body in his muzzle." she said before sobbing again. 

"I'm not gonna let that happen to you. They'd be morons if they tried hurting you again. My marks on you, your luna now." 

"Your Alpha now?" 

"Yeah. In the wolf world, a mark means were married." 

"Good. So when do you start everything?" I ask.

"When my dad finds out." 

"Ace, why ain't I a werewolf but Ethan is?" 

"Your not old enough, once you hit 25 you turn." 

"That's next year." 

"Yes. it is" 

"Will you help me get through it?" 

"Yes. I'll have to. You go through heat." 

"Heat? Like a cat?" I laughed at her. 

"Yes. Am I going to need to fullfill your needs" 

"I don't think I'd mind that" she whisped after kissing my lips. I was laughing when there was a knock on the door. 

"Who is that?" Rain asks.

"I don't know. The perimiter search shouldn't be done for another hour." I said getting up. 

"Put this on" I said throwing one of my t-shirts at Rain to cover her.  She swiftly put it on. 

"Stand behind me" I demeanded. She came behind me, my body hiding hers. I could feel her body trembling. Her shaking hand pulled one of my behind me. I squeezed it lightly as we walked to the door.

Rain's POV

I stood behind Ace's built body as he was opening the door. I was staring at his back trying to hide. 

"Ace." Seth said making me smile but I didn't move, I didn't have any pants on or underwear at that. 

"What?" Ace asked in a deep voice. Seth tried to peak around him when Ace growled loudly making me shiver. Seth snapped back. 

"Did you mark her?" he asked. 

"Yes." 

"Alright Alpha!" he said. 

"Get to the point Seth!" Ace demanded. 

"There was a scent, one of them. North West." I tensed. 

"I want my father notified. Be here in a hour. Were finishing this soon. I'm tired of having to run. And do not be back here any sooner or you will never be able to have child."
