I would really like some criticism.

Ahsoka

Ahsoka nearly got up but Max caught her elbow, "Patience Ahsoka. The night is long and our friends have no intention of leaving anytime soon."

Ahsoka glanced at the woman with the red hair in the distance. She wasn't alone and all of them were wearing their armor, "Stop staring at them. Let's finish these drinks."

Ahsoka forced herself to look back at her drink and playfully bumped her shoulder against Max's.

"You don't have to finish it," she offered.

"I paid for it," he reminded her. They drank in silence and for some reason, Ahsoka was extremely aware of him sitting so close to her that their arms touched every few seconds.

Ahsoka drank about half of her glass before she pushed it away. She would have liked to finish it but didn't trust herself to function properly afterward. She also pulled Maxwell's glass away although he had only finished one-third.

"I don't think you have a very high tolerance," she explained.

Maxwell only shrugged.

"Should we get to business?" Ahsoka grinned.

"Definitely," They got up.

"Do you know where they are?" Ahsoka asked not seeing their target.

"Bo Katan and her comrades are sitting in a booth to our right," Maxwell informed her.

Ahsoka glanced at the dark mass of dancing bodies and give Maxwell the all-clear sign.

They made their way through the masses of people towards their target. Maxwell, of course, had it easy. He was tall and muscular so he got through pretty well while Ahsoka had to squeeze her way through the masses, getting knocked around a lot.

Finally, they broke through the crowd and approached the Mandalorians. It was one woman and four men. Their helmets were lying on their tables in front of them. The small group was sitting in one of the many booths that lined the walls of the club.

The warrior's spotted them immediately. The Mandalorian's hands dropped to their weapons.

They seemed to sense that the two Jedi hadn't come for a fight, probably because they hadn't gone for their light-sabers so they let the two approach.

Maxwell didn't seem to notice the glares and sat down in the remaining chair leaving Ahsoka no choice but to awkwardly stand behind her mentor.

"What do you want Jedi?" Bo Katan demanded coolly. "Good evening Mis Katan. I heard you and your companions are looking for work. If that is still the case I am here to offer you a job. A long-term employment in fact."

Bo Katan's eyes narrowed. "Why would a Jedi higher us," Max raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Because that Jedi and his Padawan are not part of the Order and have a four hundred fifty foot long Corvette with only one pilot to operate and maintain it. Those two Jedi have a lot to do and little time."

Bo Katan's eyes widened, "I know who you are. You're Admiral Maxwell Bay!"

"Thanks for shouting that out. We are trying to keep a low profile. It's Master Bay again by the way," Max corrected her.

Her eyes flickered to Ahsoka with new interest and a grin spread across her face. "Ahsoka Tano."

Ahsoka only grunted in reply.

"Now this is getting interesting," Katan announced and folded her hands behind her head grinning.

"Why should we work for you?" Ane of the men, a dark-haired male asked.

"Because it would be a way for you to recover your honor, that and I pay quite well."

The men glared but Katan didn't seem to take notice of all this. "Recover our honor. You do realize that would mean seeking vengeance against the Jedi?"

"Seeking vengeance and getting humiliated again, I know. No, I am offering you a warm place in history. Both the Separatists and the Republic are calling you Terrorists and want to kill or arrest you. See this as a chance to gain a lot of public support for doing something nice for a change. That and as I already said earlier, I pay well."

Katan sighed.

"We'll think about it. What will these jobs look like?"

Maxwell's face stayed impassive. "Fighting Crime rings, taking down corrupt officials and being helpful in general. Well unless something more pressing demands our attention. See it as a chance to redeem yourself in the eyes of the Galaxy. "

Bo Katan exchanged a look with her comrades. "We'll think about it," she said but Ahsoka could tell that the woman liked the idea. "Be at Central Spaceport, Hanger 19 by tomorrow evening with your gear."

With that, he got up and the two Jedi withdrew from the table.

"That went well," Ahsoka yelled over the music as they approached the dance floor again."

"I agree. Now, let's get to the other part of our plans for this evening."

Ahsoka started grinning, "With pleasure master."

Ahsoka and Maxwell made their way to the back of the club and when security wasn't looking they slipped back into the off-limits part of the establishment. "The main office should be a bit further down the hall!"
