Location: Alderaan System, Alderaan, Aldera, Palace Bay

Ahsoka sat in one of the Royal palaces many inner courtyard with Barriss, Shenna, two other Padawans, and Katooni along with her fellow brats. For the first time in a while boredom was becoming an issue.

Alexander had somehow managed to heal most of Maxwell's chest wound and had fallen in a coma from the effort aswell. Her master or lover or what ever he was was still out in a healing trance. Aayla and Tur-Mukan were with Yela who was apparently now in labor and as happy to lash out as the average gundog. Apparently someone needed to protect the medical personal from her.

Ahsoka had been with Maxwell until Master Kashia Shey had thrown her out. Only now did she realize that Kashia was likely one of the temple guards because she hadn't noticed her before.

"I'm bored," Katooi voiced out what they were all thinking.

Barriss rolled her eyes, "There are still half a million clones stationed on Alderaan so feel free to leave the palace."

Katooni glared at Barriss and rolled her eyes. Ahsoka sighed and shrugged. As long as they didn't start debating her love life again she was fine. For some reason the conversation always ended on that topic. Either she was being scolded or she was being pestered for details. The latter was exclusively by those of her own gender.

Ahsoka didn't pay the scolding much heed. She was even legally an adult now. Yes, she would have forgotten her birthday if Maxwell hadn't reminded her that day. That and well, who could blame her for going for those genes.

Then Ahsoka sensed him approaching. She looked around and there he stood, in the doorway. The Togruta jumped to her feet grinning from ear to ear.

For someone who had been stabbed through the chest he looked very fit and handsome. Maxwell's usually very fair skin had a slight gray tinge to it but on the other hand, was standing at his full height instead of being dead.

"Master Bay! I advise you to maintain bed rest," a female announced. A moment later a young military nurse stepped into view, followed by a temple guard.

"I appreciate your concern but I am perfectly fine," Maxwell assured her.

Ignoring the rest of the world Ahsoka briskly walked towards him, suppressed the urge to punch him and instead wrapped her arms around his waist. "You're on your feet," she muttered relieved before breaking away. She really wanted to kiss him but chose to move that to later and stepped aside to let the others welcome him back to the handsome.

"I heard Yela was in labor, Ahsoka, would you accompany me? Temple Guard, keep an eye on them please" he ordered, nodding at the group of young, and bored Jedi.

Then the two of them were off in the direction of the nursing station. "I'm sorry I wasn't there when you woke up. I was thrown out." she said.

"Don't worry," Maxwell assured her tirdly..

That moment, more than ever, Ahsoka wanted to kiss him.

Finally they stopped in front of the two guards and the double door. "Would you allow us to pass and see my sister-in-law?"

The two men glanced at each other, probably remembering the stories of the last time guards had tried to stop either of them and stepped aside. "So, shall we go and meet my niece?" he asked.

Ahsoka smiled softly and they entered the room. "Maxwell?" Yela asked from the bed with a strained voice the moment they entered.

"I'm here," Maxwell pointed out the obvious.

Present in the room were also Aayla, Etain, the midwife, and a bunch of handmaidens. The two Jedi smiled at Maxwell, obviously pleased that he was back on his feet.
Yela stretched her hand out to Maxwell from the bed and the Jedi walked over to her, took the hand and sat down on the bed's edge. "You're alive," Yela exclaimed relieved.

"I don't die easy little one," he said and kissed the Queen of Alderaan on the forehead.

Ahsoka smiled slightly. At least she wasn't the only one that he called little one. But there was time to rid him of that habit.

The End.
