I put my hands around his neck and kissed him. Once I pulled away he smiled
"So that's a yes. May I?"
He picked up the ring and I nodded he put it on my ring finger on my right hand. I looked at it and smiled. We kissed for a bit and then walked back to the den with smiles on our faces.
When we walked into the room my parents smiled at Draco and he gave them a smile and thumbs up and kissed me on the forehead. The rest of my family members started smiling
"Did you tell them?"
My mom nodded
"We told them that Draco asked us if it was ok to give you a promise ring"
"Really?"
I looked at Draco and he shrugged
"I had to ask your parents it wouldn't be right if I didn't"
"True"
Most of my female relatives all came up to me to take a glance at the ring but my aunt Marie stopped them
"Dinner is ready we will all see the ring at the table"
I breathed a sign of relief. I walked into the dinning room and Draco pulled out my chair. I sat down and he sat next to me. My aunt put out all of the food and we began to eat. By the time I finished I felt like I was going to explode from the amount of food.
Once the table was cleared all the guys decided to go down the basement and hangout.
"Should I go?"
Draco whispered to me
"Yeah they could be your family soon"
"True see you later"
He gave me a quick kiss and ran after my dad and they began to talk.
"So can I see that ring of ours?"
I see my mom now next to me. I put out my hand and my mom stares at the ring and admires it
"It's beautiful must have cost a lot that's pure silver"
"Yeah and it's engraved with our little saying 'forever and always'"
I take off the ring and show her the inside
"So when is the wedding?"
I look and see my grandma sitting across me and my mom
"Not until after graduation and Draco said he wanted to get a stable job to support us"
"Smart man"
All of us laughed at that. It was true he had thought this out before he decided it. I loved him for that if he didn't know what our future would be like I feel like I wouldn't have been so sure about saying yes. I looked at the ring and thought what are the people at Hogwarts gonna think.
My mom suddenly poked me and motioned for us to go to the kitchen
"So did Draco just decide this?"
"Yeah. What did you think?"
"I was just wondering he is a very smart guy though he's lucky to have you"
"Yeah"
"So everything you told me that happened with Ron is true?"
"Yeah me and Draco were walking through the corridors for our night shift and we heard something and when I open the door we see Ron snogging a girl against the wall."
"I really thought he would be the one. But here we are, you're wearing a promise ring from Draco Malfoy. The truth is I think he is better for you"
"I agree"
We laugh a little until Draco walks up the stairs
"Hey"
He smiles and kisses me
"Hey why are you up here?"
"I don't know their talking about stuff I don't understand"
"What do you mean?"
"No offense but I don't understand muggle customs or games or sports and that what their talking about. You dad had to bypass a few questions for me because your relatives started thinking that I'm weird or something"
"Well they don't know about wizard stuff really"
"They don't? Do they know about you?"
"Sorta. Can we talk about this alone mom?"
"Sure sorry"
She walks out of the room
"Your family doesn't know about me?"
"No they might just think your a muggle like them"
"But I go to the same school as you"
"Yeah but they don't know much"
Draco now looked mad I understood that he was upset that I hid secrets from my family about him.
"What if I ever use magic in front of them"
"Then we would have to explain"
"Are you serious?!"
Draco yelled and happens when he did my aunt walked in and looked at us concerned
"Are you all right?"
"Yes!"
Draco yelled he was now breathing heavy and suddenly he looked behind me an the windows shattered to pieces.
"What on earth?"
My aunt go up to windows and everyone comes running in.
"Draco?"
I whisper to him
"Sorry my anger kinda controlled me"
"Ok"
Suddenly my little cousin Emma comes into the kitchen with Draco's wand.
"Mom I found this what is it?"
My eyes widen and so do Draco's. now we have to spill I guess. I walk forward and say
"That's Draco's sorry"
I go to take it but being a curious 8 year old she questions it
"What is it?"
Draco reaches forward and says
"It's just something I carry around now can I have it please"
He bend over and gets to eye level with her. She slowly hands it to him. He smiles and takes it back. But ice she leaves everyone in the room is staring at Draco
"Whoops"
He turns to me and looks for help
"What is that really?"
My aunt Marie looks at him.
"It's hard to explain and you wouldn't believe it"
"Try us"
He looks at m and just says it
"It's a wand in a wizard, pureblood to be exact. I go to Hogwarts with Hermione where we met"
He looks at all of them who all are staring at us in shock....
