The next day, Sofia and her family went back to Albuquerque Palace, and she had a special surprise for Hugo. It was an animal-communicator hearing aid invented by Inventor Gwen of Enchancia. Sofia helped get the hearing aid on Hugo's left ear.
Sofia and Hugo went out to the stables to see if it worked. The duo went to Hugo's flying horse, Electra, to talk to her.
"Hey, Electra, how goes it?" Hugo asked.
"Very well, young prince, thank you," Electra answered.
Hugo realized that his hearing aid was working perfectly. "It works!" he gasped. "Now we can both talk to animals."
Sofia and Hugo were happy to share a great secret like this.
Sofia learned a very big lesson: she vowed to never tell her secret to Amber again, or Prince Arthur would come back, whether it was in Enchancia, Albuquerque, or any other kingdom. The duo promised to never tell anyone about this secret, especially Amber. They could barely believe that they had such an exciting adventure, chasing down an evil prince and saving Albuquerque.
