Ian felt Seto's hand brush against his back. "What do you want Seto?" He said in a raspy tone. Seto looked at him. "Nothing....I can't feel the diamond just yet.." He whispered. Ian stopped dead in his tracks. Surrounded by green plants and brown tree trunks. "What? " Seto asked. Ian looked around as he saw dead plants up ahead. "Someone's been here..." He said. Seto squinted his eyes to see the area where Ian was looking. "Who then?" Seto asked. "Daku. It has to be.." Ian said. Ian ran to the area as Seto followed. Seto paused for a second. "I feel energy... it's faint but.." Ian turned. "You can sense energy?" Ian asked. Seto nodded. "Only from sorcerers, the energy goes away in a month or so. "
Seto then began to follow the energy. It's too faint for me to figure out who it is but....I can at least follow the trail...before it gets dark. He said as he looked up at the sky. " What is it?" Ian asked. " We can follow the trail and make our way to where this person is. But it's getting really dark and I don't want any mobs to follow us." Seto explained. Ian shrugged. "We can take them Set." Ian said. Seto shrugged. "Maybe but well...I'm scared of mobs to be honest. " Ian hugged Seto. "Let's just follow the trail and if it gets dark, we can make a dirt home okay?" Ian said. Seto nodded. "Okay, fine. We better hurry though."
Hours passed as Ian endlessly followed Seto around the forest up until they made it to the jungle biome. "What is it Seto?" Ian asked. Seto looked around, then at Ian. "The energy ends here....but how?" Seto whispered. "Well, I'm not a sorcerer obviously but maybe he decided to cover his tracks?" Ian said. Seto stared at him. "But why stop here?" Seto said. Ian shrugged as he walked to Seto. He then heard a click. " What was that? " Ian whispered. They both looked around, for a moment they thought it was just their imagination until they heard the sound of an arrow. "S-seto?!" Ian yelled. Seto looked to see an arrow heading straight toward him. " Get down!" Ian said as he pushed Seto to the ground. "Ow!" Seto yelled. Ian then fell on top of Seto, guarding him from the arrows. " I-ian!" Seto yelled. "Is it over!" Ian panted. " No...not even close. The arrows won't stop." Ian said. They then heard steps of two other people followed by growls of dogs. "Who's there?!" One of them called out. Ian buried his face into Seto's back, panicking as he braced himself for stab wounds and bite marks. "Were just people! A mortal and sorcerer! " Seto called. His voice sounded determined and loud, something that was rare for Ian to hear. "A sorcerer? " One said. "Haven't seen one in a while after that weird guy came along.." The other said. "Please don't hurt us!" Ian yelled, sounding terrified. " Hey, I recognize that voice!" Ian sighed, thinking that it was a fan. Which he had no time to talk to. "Ian? Is that you?! It's me, Crainer!" One said. "And me, Lancey! " said the other. Ian widened his eyes as he noticed the change in their voices. Crainer's voice sounded more mature and slightly deeper. Lancey sounded very professional. " Lancey? Crainer?" Ian said as he got up. "A weird guy?! That must be Daku!" Seto exclaimed. Crainer looked at Seto. "Who's he?" Crainer said pointing at Seto. " He's my boyfriend. His name is Seto. Seto Sorcerer." Ian said. Crainer looked down. "What about crundee? " He joked. Ian chuckled. "You should have said something when you had the chance." Ian said. "Awesome Ian!" Lancey said. "You get some!" Ian looked at him as he laughed. "Really? Did you just say that?" Seto blushed. "Hey, can we stay at your place for the night?" Seto said, ignoring Lancey's joke. Crainer nodded. "Sure, you can stay the night." Crainer said, smiling. "Thanks!" Ian said. Seto looked at them. "You mentioned a sorcerer, can you tell me about him?" He said. Lancey nodded. "Once we get inside."
----Time skip---
Ian took a sip of his coffee as they all settled around the fire place. Crainer sat beside Ian, looking at him. "So about the sorcerer.." Seto said. Crainer looked up. "Well, he rode a horse, and had this diamond but it looked different from diamond ores, it was brighter and was glowing. He was talking to it when he stepped on the pressure plate, he didn't even notice the arrows coming after him. He just got up from the horse and walked away. The horse...was hit by the arrows and died. I tried to stop it but he looked at me and said 'do not touch the horse. I am his master. Crainer, you will leave!'. He said and showed the diamond to me. I felt kind of dizzy and passed out. Lancey managed to save me... lucky me." Crainer said. "I knew that he was a sorcerer.." Lancey said. "He began to teleport and showed some sort of mist around his hand and a ball and shot it at a tree." Crainer looked down as he closed his eyes. "Hopefully, my head won't hurt for like the 2nd time this week." Ian sighed. "How long has it been since you've seen him?" Ian asked. Lancey looked at Crainer then back at Ian. "Maybe 3 days ago." Seto grabbed Ian's hand. "How did he look like?" Seto asked.
"Um..He had dark brown hair and white..maybe blue-white eyes. And had a black and red cloak." Crainer said. "Oh no...It is Daku." Seto said. "Guys! Stay away from him! He is a dangerous man and will kill you or use the diamond to control you. You got lucky Crainer. If he did, you wouldn't be here right now.." Lancey got up. "Well, I'm going to bed." He said. "But first.. Ian? Can I talk to you for a moment?" Ian nodded. "Sure." He followed Lancey to the kitchen. "So...Um. I'd like to clarify that we're not a couple." Ian nodded. "I figured." Lancey grabbed his hand. "I'm glad you found a boyfriend. When are you guys getting married?" Lancey asked. Ian shrugged. "I don't know. I haven't asked him..." Lancey chuckled. "You so want to tell him. Don't you?" Ian hesitated.
He slowly nodded. "I do but...with everything going on..I can't." Lancey cocked an eyebrow. "What about the next level? Besides getting married." Ian blushed but smiled. "I..don't want to rush him..." Ian said. "Maybe you should just straight up ask him?" Lancey said. Ian shook his head. "I... just.."
"C'mon!" Lancey said. "Well..I don't know..." Ian whispered. Lancey smiled. "Ask him!" Ian laughed. "okay! Okay! You win!" Ian said. "Good luck! Our spare room is downstairs." Lancey said. "Yeah... Goodnight!" Ian said as he walked back to the living room. Crainer was missing. "He left to go to the bathroom." Seto said. Ian nodded. "um..Can I talk to you?" Ian asked. Seto nodded. Ian held Seto's hand as he walked to the spare room. They both sat on the bed. "What is it Ian?" Seto asked. Ian blushed. "Um...w-would you want to...do it?" He muttered. Seto widened his eyes. "You're asking me that why?" Seto asked. "Well...It was just a question.." Ian asked. Seto pushed Ian on the bed. "Seto..?" Ian asked. Seto kissed the top of Ian's head. "Don't you want to?" Seto asked. Ian grinned as he nodded. Seto began to kiss Ian.
