Dentist Appointments

Skylar's POV
"Don't forget you have a Dentist appointment today. Lauren should be by soon to make sure you go. Love you see you later" Demi says as she grabbed her keys to go to the studio. "Okay see ya" I say finishing my homework as she kissed my head. After I was done with the final proof on my Geometry study guide since I had a test tomorrow I put everything back in my backpack and went over to the living room where Cooper was hanging out. "Cmere cool!" I say patting the spot next to me on the couch. He had gotten a little bigger since but he still couldn't jump onto the couch so I made him little steps out of pillows so he could climb up. Once he was on my lap I had clicked on a movie to watch on Netflix while I waited for Lauren. I honestly was not looking forward to seeing the dentist. I mean who would look forward to some dude putting things in your mouth then asking you questions that you can't even answer cause you can't fucking talk. It just irritates the crap out of me and plus since I had a lot of sugar on my birthday I know I have at least one cavaity. Which those hurt like hell!!! "Baby it's time to go to the dentist" I heard the voice of my girlfriend say as she sat next to me stroking Cooper's back. "Do I have to?" I say like a child she giggles and says "yes you have to. But if you're good they'll give you a lollipop" she says "Thought that was the doctor?" I say "Then I'll get you the damn lollipop but only if you go" she says I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "I'm not going and you can't make me" I say pouting "I can't?" She says arching an eyebrow she went on her phone and started face timing someone. "Demi Skylar's being difficult!" Lauren says I turn my head as soon as she said that and I saw Demi "shit oh hey Dems!" I say "Skylar go to the dentist with Lauren now!" She says "Demi you know i hate the dentist" I whine "it's not that bad Sky just go!" She says "ugh fine!" I say annoyed that I had to go to the fucking dentist. "Love you!" She says I rolled my eyes and muttered "love you too even though you can be a bitch sometimes" "what was that?" She ask "Nothing love you bye!" I say hanging up before Lauren could say anything. "Alright you ready to go now?" She asks "Yea whatever" I say as we said our Goodbyes to cooper and went to her car. We arrived at the dentist and Lauren signed me in. The worst part of the dentist was the waiting room. It was always filled with Little kids running around screaming loudly and some kind of kid movie playing in the background. I always had my headphones in so I didn't pay attention. Lauren let me know that they called my name by tapping my shoulder. I went in with the nurse and took some x-rays. "Remember that one time you almost bit my finger off?" My nurse asks. I somehow had managed to have the same nurse all my life. When I was younger she was new I'd say she was around 20-23 fresh out of nurse school or whatever. Anyway when I was around 6 or 7 I accidentally bit her finger but it was her fault for saying to bite when obviously her finger was still in my mouth. Ever since then she's called me Vampire lovato. "Okay the Dentist will be right in here. But in the meantime try to work on growing out your fangs" she says jokingly "hey I can still bite you!" I say making her chuckle "Sure you can Vampire lovato" she says rolling her eyes I hissed at her like one would do if they were a vampire which only made her laugh as she went to go tend to another person. Well this should be fun.
Demi's POV
I had just finished recording a song called Yes one of the songs going on my new album. "Alright Demi take five" Phil my manager says I nodded as I took a seat and drank some of my water. My phone had started ringing and I noticed it was the number of Skylar's great what did she do now?
D:Hello?
P:Hello Ms.Lovato this is the principal of Your sisters school
D: Yes is this about something Skylar has done?
P:No she's not in trouble this time. I'm actually calling to talk to you.
D:Oh? Well what about?
P:Well you remember Ms.Briche right? The choir teacher?
D:Yea?
P:Well she quit saying and i quote 'If the super star older sister thinks she can do a better then I'd like to see her try!' And then stormed out.
D:Wow
P:Yea so what do you say are you up for it?
D:Wait what?
P:Are you up to be the new Choir teacher?
I had to think about it for a moment. I was young but Skylar said I was pretty known around so I'm pretty sure the kids would give me a shot right?
D:Yea I'm up for it when do I start?
P:Great! You start on Monday! Excited to work with you Ms.Lovato
D:Ditto and please call me Demi
P:Right Demi well see you on Monday.
Skylar is going to be so happy when she hears about this. "Alright Demi let's run through it again" Phil says I nodded giving him a thumbs up.
Skylar's POV
You know how they numb your mouth right after you're done get cavities. Yea it sucks right. You know how they also tell you that you can't eat for an entire hour even though you're starving. Ugh the struggle is real. Luckily Lauren decided to stay to keep me company until Demi came back. "Babe can I eat yet I'm hungry!!!" I whine she checks the time "Yea you can eat" she says "Finally!" I say I went into the kitchen and put a hot pocket into the microwave and waited until it was finished. Lauren came over to me and set me on the counter so that I was eye level with her. I chuckled and said "Relationship goals!" Causing her to chuckle "shut up you dork" she says leaning in to kiss me. I pulled back and smile "but I'm your dork" I say kissing her just as I heard the microwave go off we pulled back at the same time to laugh. I loved her spontaneous kisses and knowing that I could kiss her anytime I wanted. I jumped down from the counter and grabbed my hot pocket. "Ow fuck it's hot!" I say dropping it onto a dish that Lauren got out for me. The doorbell rang and Lauren went to go get it. While I nibble at the edge of my hot pocket. Man they weren't joking when they named it. "Hey Skylar how's was the Dentist?" Demi asks hugging me "How do you think it was?" I ask causing her to laugh "How was the studio?" I ask "it was good I've got something i want to talk to you about." she says "Hey babe I've got to go the girls need me at the studio" Lauren says "Okay bye babe!" I say going over to peck her lips she smiles and kisses my forehead "bye baby love you" she says "love you too" I say as she leaves "What'd you want to talk to me about Demi?" I ask "Well you remember Ms.Bitchface right?" She asks "Yea please tell me you got her fired" I say "Didn't have to she quit" she says "Yes finally!! She needed to go back to college anyway. So who's the new teacher?" I say "I am" she says smiling "Wait what?" I say shocked. "I'm your new teacher isn't this great! Now I'm gonna get to know all your friends and know where you hang out and stuff" she says hugging me. "Yea great!" I say it also means she can peak at my grades anytime she wants to and look at my record which most of the stuff on there mom doesn't even know about. You have no idea how many holidays I had to make up in order to get away with the amount of suspensions i had my freshman year. I even broke the school record. But shit I'm screwed. Demi is my new choir teacher just my fucking luck
