Kari's POV
I was walking down the road, no-one except me and Naruto had nothing to do. Everyone was out on a mission. I was walking past an alleyway when suddenly I was grabbed by someone. They had both of my hands pinned above my head with only one of his hands. Then with the other, he pulled out a knife and held it to my throat "Well it seems I got myself a pretty one here" the man growled/laughed, holding the knife to my throat. "Let her go" a very angry voice, I could only open one eye halfway. The figure I saw had red hair and the only redhead I knew was Gaara, but what was he doing here? "Gaara," I said sounding very strained since the guy had his knife pressed too tightly against my neck. "Kari are you alright?" "Couldn't be better." "Ah shut it," the man behind me said pressing the knife closer to my neck, drawing blood. I heard a growl in the distance and suddenly I was dropped from my position and fell to the ground. I looked behind
me and saw the man in a sand cocoon that was closing in "Um Gaara, are you going to kill him?" "Yes, he tried to hurt you, which is unacceptable." "But I'm fine, you can put him down please" he looked at me then sighed putting the man back down. "Try to hurt her again and I won't hold back," he said coldly, the man frantically shook his head then ran out the alleyway. "So Gaara what are you doing here?" "I'm on a mission" "Oh, so where are you staying?" "An apartment nearby" "Well maybe I could visit sometime," I said "well got to go bye" I waved before running off.
Gaara's POV
She said goodbye and left me in the alleyway.
" You should have done it boy" Shukaku growled
"Not yet, that wasn't the right time"
"Bull crap boy that was the perfect opportunity" (excuse my french)
"Maybe for you but not for me"
"Stop being so-"
"Shut up I will do it when the time is right and no-one will tell me otherwise" I shouted and he got quiet. "Finally, now maybe he'll stop bugging me about it," I thought walking home to the most annoying team in the world." I'll do the thing later today, just not now" I whispered entering the house and heading straight to my room.
