Gaara's POV
Today was the day my team had to leave because our time here was up. I really didn't want to leave Kari but that wasn't my call. "What can I do to stay? I can't be gone forever" I thought as we quickly ran through the trees. "I also need to alert the Hokage for permission beforehand, what to do?" I didn't realize we were already in the sand village. "Go rest and report to a hospital," I told them and made my way to the Hokage tower. Once I entered my office, there was a lot of paperwork, too much for me to do. I went into my bedroom and laid on my bed, too deep in my thought about how to get back to Kari, then it hit me. I have unused vacation days that I never bothered about because of busy I was, and Temari's always telling me that I needed a vacation, but I'll wait a few days for her to tell me again, she likes to tell me that every other day.
Two days later
I was in my office doing the paperwork that was held while I was on the mission when Temari walked in. "Hey Gaara" "Hello Temari" I replied not taking my eyes off the still undone paperwork. "Gaara, you need a break from this, I know you just got back from a mission but that doesn't mean you start working again" "I have paperwork to do, I have no time to slack off on a vacation" "Come on, you can use the opportunity to see your girlfriend, what's her name again?" "Kari, her name is Kari" "Right, anyways I think you should use your vacation days to go see her." "But who will do all the paperwork while I'm gone. Plus I have to contact the Hokage to see if it's alright." " will do the work. And I will message the Hokage for you. All you have to do is pack your things and wait for the okay." She did have a point. "But you both have to get the work done. If I come back and there's still paperwork on the desk..." "I know, I know, you'll kill us. You've been saying that every time we're left to do something
