Auditions

I did not write this from scratch i used Danielle Bradbery's journey on the voice to write it

For my auditions I choose the song Mean by Taylor Swift to show my country/pop twist to the coaches. I'm 16 so if I get on a team I will be the youngest artist ever on The Voice. For my wardrobe I choose a pink dress with a denim short sleeve jacket over top. My hair was down but I had a single braid pinned up on the left side. When I perfected my hair and singing it was almost my turn. Once Carson Dailey came to get me I had butterflies in my stomach. So many things were going through my head right now. What if I mess up? What if I sound awful? My parents and sister wish me good luck and I make my way onto the stage. Carson introduces me and then the music starts. Some how I reach down deep inside of me and I start to sing,

You with your words like knifes and swords and weapons that you use against me you have knocked me of my feet again got me feeling like I'm nothing you with your voice like nails on a chalk board calling me out when I'm wounded you picking on the weaker man

you can take me down with just one single blow but you don't know what you don't know some day I'll be living in a big old city and all your ever gonna be is mean and some day I'll be big enough so you can't hit me and all your ever gonna be is mean why you gotta be so mean

And I can see you years from now in a bar talking over a football game with that same big loud opinion but nobody's listening washed up and ranting about the same old bitter things

And by the end of the song I had Adam's, Usher's, and Blake's chairs turned. Carson joined me on the stage again and told me that I did amazing Adam talked about what opportunities would come if I joined him team, and then Usher did the same, but the only person I listened to was Blake. He couldn't believe that I was only 16 and he said that It was insane that I am this good without a single music lesson or concert before this.

" so Danielle, now it's up to you to choose who you want as your coach." Carson said.

Instantly I knew who I wanted.

"my heart goes all to Blake."

"yeh!!!" Blake cheered.

After hugs were given and received I was being escorted off the stage and to where my family was waiting to ambush me with hugs and kisses also.
