Chapter 1: the new discovery part 4

It's been a half an hour now and I still couldn't find his room.
"Dang it! Where is my little kitties room!" There I went again, saying my little kitty, again. Why do I keep saying that? I shook it off once again and kept searching for his room. "Ah~ here it is~." I opened the door to see a sleeping cat on the bed. I went over to the bed and turned him over so he would see me.
'Ba-dum. Ba-dum.' My heart started to race once I saw his sleeping face. 'Why? Why is my heart pounding so fast?' I started to freak out. "What did you do to me?!" I accidentally yelled out loud causing the sleeping cat to jerk up.
"Ahh! Huh?! Who's there!?" I quickly ducked behind the chest in his room.
"Kwazii! Is everything alright! We heard a scream!" A polar bear, penguin, dog, a sea otter, an octopus, a bunny, and a vegetable? I was looking at the vegetable and forgetting all about the cat, until he started to speak.
"Yea, I'm alright cap. Just thought I heard a voice is all." The cat named Kwazii said.
"Kwazii, huh?" I whispered.
"Ok. If you need anything just tell us. Now go back to sleep. That goes for every one." Everybody left the room.
"Phew." I forgot that one person was still in the room.
"Hello?" Kwazii's voice sounded like he was scared. I said nothing which caused the cat to get up off his bed and walk over to the chest.
'Oh God. I'm gonna get caught! Wait. Why do I care if I get caught! I could just kill him and get it over with!' I was having a big debate in my mind and I didn't even notice the cat that was now looking straight at me.
"Hello? Who are you? What are you doing on the octopod?" He asked.
'As long as he doesn't see my eyes.' I closed my eyes.
"Hey? You ok? Why'd you shut your eyes?" He asked.
'Maybe if I ignore him he will go away.' I read it in a book that if you ignore an animal that it will go away and not bother you.
"Hello? Can you hear me?" He tapped my shoulder. I didn't budge. He shook my shoulder. Still nothing. "Grr." He then jerked my body so I will look at him. This caused my eyes to open.
Kwazii's pov
I jerked the lad so he wouldn't ignore me anymore. When I jerked him, I got to see his eyes, he had red eyes, the same red eyes that I saw in the midnight zone.
"Wa-mph!" I tried to scream but he put his hand on my mouth. "Mph! Mmph!" I kept trying to scream for help, but he wouldn't remove his hand.
"Shh~. You gotta be quiet my little kitten~. You don't want to wake everyone else up again, now do you~?" He smirked and I felt tears well up in my eyes when I saw his teeth.
'Is he gonna eat me?' I started to cry.
