Chapter 5: Midnight Zone Part-1

I kept swimming further and further down into the sea until I didn't know where I was anymore. (P.S. I never knew where I was)
"Hmm? Where am I? Is this a new part of the ocean? Did I go a different direction? I thought I went straight down?" I sighed. "Oh well. Kwazii will come find me! Uh...may be....." I kept thinking about his fluffy orange fur. "Ah!! Why am I thinking about him!! I don't need him!! I don't need any one!!" I kept swimming downwards. 'That's right! I can take care of myself! I don't need that cute orange pirate!
"Hehehe." Laughing interrupted my thoughts.
"Huh? Who's there!?" I looked all around me but couldn't find anyone. All I saw was darkness. "When did it get so dark?" I could barely see.
"What's a cat like you doing down in the deaths of the midnight zone?" I saw a shadow swim in front of my eyes but I couldn't make out the shape.
"You look tasty~." I felt something whisp past my ear.
"W-who are you?! What do you w-want!?" I was getting angry at these shadows.
"Oh~. We just want to have some fun~." I felt something caress my tail.
"Eek!" I tried to swim away from the figure, but when I did I knocked into another figure.
"Now where do you think your going? We're just getting started~." I started to panick.
"Stay away from me!" I quickly started to swim upwards so I could see a bit better.
"No no~. I don't think so~." The figures swam in front of me and hit me with their fins, which sent me back down.
"Fudge!" Instead of swimming upwards, I started swimming downwards. 'I hope they can't see that well if I go down further.'

Kwazii's POV

"Shiro!" I searched all around trying to find the missing cat. "Shiro! Where are you?!" I looked everywhere for him! I searched my room, the launch bay, the HQ, and even the garden! "Think Kwazii think! Where else could he be?" I thought for a moment, then it hit me. "The kitchen!!" I ran all the way to the kitchen and ran into a Turnip! "Oh! Sorry Turnip! Have you guys seen Shiro lately? I looked all over but couldn't find him!" I explained. He handed me a piece of paper and went out of the kitchen. "Is he mad?" I shrugged it off and looked at the paper. "What!?" I quickly pushed the octo alert and ran to the HQ.
"Kwazii! What's wrong!?" Cap'n asked.
"Its Shiro!" I huffed. I was basically having a panicked attack.
"Kwazii. Sit down. You need to calm down." Peso helped me calm down.
"Now, what happened?" Cap'n knelt beside me.
"Where's Shiro? I haven't seen him all day?" Tweak asked.
"H-He went b-back to the m-midnight zone!!" Every one gasped.
"Wait a second Kwazii. How do you know he went back?" Cap'n questioned.
"B-because of this!" I held out the note that Turnip gave me. Cap'n read it out loud.

"Dear Kwazii, I decided that I needed to get some fresh air, or water? Whatever they call it. Anyways, I'm going back to the midnight zone for a bit. Don't worry I'll be fine! I know the midnight zone like the back of my hand! That is if I've been in that area before. But I don't think you guys would have moved the octo thingy so.....yeah. See ya Kwaz!"

I started to sulk. "Where did you find this?" Cap'n asked.
"Turnip gave it to me in the kitchen." I stated.
"Where is Turnip?" Shellington asked.
"Who cares!!!! We need to find Shiro!!!! He out in the most dangerous part of the midnight zone!!!!!" I yelled.
"First we need to figure out which way he went." Peso stated.
"How?!" I hissed.
"I wanted to test out my newest tracking device!" Tweak piped up.
"What?" I was confused.
"When Peso was going to go check on you two to see if Shiro was awake or not. I asked him to connect a little Beatle like tracking device on him when he wasn't looking!" Tweak showed us an example of it. (like this 🐜)
"Why?!" I hissed again.
"So we could find him again if he vanishes while he's still hurt! Like right now!" She huffed.
"Ok! Ok! Can we please find him now?" I eagerly asked. She smirked. She pulled a little SD card like thing (kinda like this 💾) out and put it in the system. (how they look at pictures? I can't explain it)
"Alrighty! Here we go! This is gonna show us what he's doing right now and where and how deep his location is." Tweak turned it on.
