i had decided to finally pluck up the courage to ask sophie out on a date. well, it wasn't really a date.. i was going to invite her to imogen's party tonight. i took a deep breath and walked towards sophie.

"h-h-hey, um, s-sophie.." i squeaked.
"oh hiiiiii! um, are you okay?" she replied, doing her cute laugh.
"oh, um, yeah, i'm just kinda nervous i guess."
"haha, why? there's no need to be nervous."
"NO REASON. sorry, lol, i didn't mean to shout. i just wanted to know if you wanted to come to imogen's party tonight? as my plus one?" i choked, embarrassed at how bad i was at this.
"yeah! that would be awesome!"
"alright, i'll pick you up at 6 tonight?"
"sweet!" she said, as i turned around and tripped over my own shoe lace. my face whipped behind me as my eyes searched for sophie in case she saw and yep, she did.
she was just watching me, laughing. i ran away, red in the face. but OMG SHE ACTUALLY SAID YES OMG.
