Days had become weeks and weeks had become months which soon turned into years since the night of the accident.
I am now just days away from my sixteenth birthday. For my birthday I made a promise to myself and daddy to try and make new friends, since the ones I already had didn't care enough to try and keep our ties from breaking.
Since the accident I had become the sort of person who kept to themselves and is very reserved. Those traits don't help you to make too many friends, but I made a promise and I was determined to keep it.
