~Chapter Eleven~

By the time the movie ended I was bawling my eyes out. Cory sat there hugging me. "Why are you girls so emotional? It's just a character in a book and movie!" Max exclaims. Paige, Maddy, and I glare at him. "Don't say that ever again," I say through gritted teeth. I look at the clock, "Holy shit it's already 2:30!" "I better go! Y/n can I talk to you in private for a second?" Cory asks. "Sure," I follow him into the kitchen. He looks down then says something I would've never thought he would ever say to me.
"Will you go on a date with me?" "Yes! I'd love to," I say way to excited. He bites his lip as if he's trying to hide a smile, "Okay, does Friday sound good?" "Sounds amazing," I hug him. We stand there hugging, just enjoying each other's presence until he says he has to leave. We walk out of the kitchen and he leaves. When he shuts the door Max, Maddy, and Paige turn to me. "What?!" I say. "So what did Cory have to tell you?" Maddy questions. "He just asked me if I would go on a date with him," I mumble. "What?" Max basically yells. "Calm down," Paige playfully slaps his arm. Maddy and I look at each other knowing that we are thinking the same thing. We need to get them together. "Well, I'm going to go kick Cory's ass. See you tomorrow," Max says standing up. "Max, I swear to god if you ruin this for me I will stab you in your sleep," I say slowly. Max starts walking towards the door, "Sorry, I'm just a little protective. I won't harm him but I will talk to him." And with that said he left.
"So Paige, you and Max?" I ask turning to her. "Ok, fine. I like Max but I'm not ready to date him, if he even does like me back. He has to earn my trust first," Maddy and I nod. "Well, we better go. See ya," they hug me then leave. I walk upstairs and get into bed. It's Wednesday. My date with Cory is in two days.
I wake up with a jolt. Why do I always set my alarm to be so loud? I get dressed in my Budder shirt and some ripped skinny jeans. I brush my hair and put it up in a bun. I quickly eat my breakfast then brush my teeth. I get all of my stuff and meet Max, Tim Tim, and Ross outside. I haven't talked to Ross since he told me he was the one who wrote the dare. "Y/n, I'm sorry about the dare. I didn't realize it would affect you that much. But in my defense, it was just a prank bro." Ross apologizes. I laugh, "It's fine. I shouldn't have been so sensitive." "So I heard you are going on a date with Cory," he says. "Yep. Max told you?" I ask. He nods then laughs, "Yeah, last night. He seemed a little pissed."
