DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN DIVERGENT, THAT BELONGS TO THE VERY TALENTED VERONICA ROTH.

Last night was another sleepless night. Every time I fell into a peaceful sleep I was pulled back out by someone's screams, sobs or whimpers. I actually considered taking my blankets and sleeping in the hall at one point. Apparently I'm taking stage two way better than the others. My theory being the fact that I've lived in my own hell for majority of my life. I'm currently sat in the same hall as the day before quietly chatting with Uriah, who is sat next to me.

"So, what did my mom say about me at dinner yesterday." He asks leaning back to slouch more into the wall and crosses his arms over his chest closing his eyes awaiting my response. He seems so at ease and relaxed. I'm glad there's no hard feelings between us for ditching them yesterday, they were all very understanding of the fact that I needed space from my 'brother.'

"What make you think we talked of you?" I say leaning further from him and raising an eyebrow as I allow my eyes to scan him in a joking manner. I peaks one of his eyes open and smirks at me.

"Because I'm me of course." I says in a 'duh' tone.

"Well, let me think." I say tapping my chin with a smirk. "Oh yeah, she said you never shut up about me." I say and he scuffs. "And I'm stuck with you." I groan and he sarcastically laughs.

"Ha ha, and why is that?" He rolls his eyes but has confusion laced in his voice.

"Well, my mom may have happened to be your dad's sister." I say nonchalantly picking at my nails with a small shrug.

"Wait! What? That means-" He pauses and pure excitement fills his face. "No way!" He yells practically diving off the wall to hug me.

"Therefore I am, sadly, stuck with you as my cousin." I laugh and he pulls back to pout at me. "I'm kidding. I mean I'm a little scared that we share the same blood but,-" I trail and he huffs as the door opens and Four calls Uri's name. Uriah instantly stand and runs up jumping on Four knocking both of them back and making me erupt in laughter.

"Four guess what!" Uri shouts in his face, and I swear I see Four cringe from the noise.

"Uriah, get off me." Four groans.

"Guess first." Uri demands.

"The tooth fairy came and gave you an extra credit?" Four says like he's talking to a giddy child.

"No! I'm your cousin." Uri screams climbing off him.

"Oh god, Please tell me you're lying." Four groans standing as well.

"You two are mean." Uri pouts pointing between Four and myself before walking in the room. I notice Four glance my way before he follows closing the door behind himself.

Fifteen minutes later, the door reopens and Uriah walks out. This is one of the only times I haven't seen him sporting playful smile on his face. He looks pale and jumpy, his eyes were wide and bloodshot as well as the fact that his hands were shaking. I could see tear streaks on his face and he avoided all eye contact staring intently at the floor beneath him. I wish I had never had to see him in the state.

"Come on Tris." Four requests and I slowly push myself up from the floor. I walk into the room and sit in the chair in which Uri probably just cried his eyes out. I gripped the arms of the chair and didn't say a word, I simply moved my hair to allow Eric to inject me. Slowly my eyes became cloudy and my eyelids fell letting the quiet before the storm overcome me.

I open my eyes and see familiar gray walls surrounding me. I'm back in Abnegation, in my old house. I knew this would come. I walk out of my former bedroom into the hall and down the stairs slowly and silently.
