So after sulking it over and rereading the story, I came to the conclusion that yes, ALD will - for a majority of the book - remain somewhat the same, but there will be a lot of things changed. Emphasize a lot.
Fey will still be in the book having been very important, but she will actually be playing a less important role. There will be no extra golden wolf and what not and how the book ended will be totally different.
I'm sorry if this is a disappointment to you but it's just too messy having fey be the character she was and Daxis be a good guy in the end. Daxis will definitely be perceived as a more villainous person and the whole "storming the castle of another pack to get back his mate" will not be happening in the rewrite.
I've started on the rewrite but it won't be out until I finish it completely.
