Terrance followed her through the streets, not many people were out. She couldn't stop gazing on the town, all such a magical siloet of beauty and anyone she passed had the same grace as the town

She thought about asking Gehnsa questions along the way but the elf hadn't so much as smiled to entire time and actually intimidated her

Finally they reached the door to the castle

She followed Gehnsa through the gate and up some stairs, everything here made of white stone.

"Make sure you're well mannered human." Gehnsa said just before reaching the top of the stairs.

Terrance flashed a nervous smile in response.

After a serious of hallways they ended in an outside section in the middle of the castle

The elf stopped, and folded her arms as she turned around

Terrance followed her lead, standing slightly behind her

After a minute an elf with much broader shoulder walked in. Judging by the sleek crown she figured he was the king.

She instinctively stood up straighter

"What is your business here human?" He asked

"The king had my brother killed simply because he knew about a.. Sun stone? I seek answers based around it." She hoped that was a good enough answer,

"And what you know thus far?"

"That the king forbid all magic and isolated what he couldn't kill here in the great purge. All dragon rider were killed, I'm assuming, besides Gino."

"You know very little, Terrance is it?"

"Yes sir, and I know, that's why I'm here now, to learn"

"And what are your intentions with this information?"

"If I picked up on the story right you guys are cursed here? I'd love to know why the king would kill my brother for a previous stone, I also would like to help free you from the curse"

"Why would you do that?" The king raised an eye brow

"Because, there's no reason to trap you here"

"Alright Terrance, stay as you will, learn, the elves will answer questions you may have. Unless you do something vile you are welcome here"

"Thank you!" She thanked excitedly

"Gehnsa."

"Yes my lord?"

"Stay with her"

"But sir! With all do respect, I'm a warrior elf, not a babysitter." She protested

The king wrinkled his forehead, about to speak before an elf with shoulders like the king spoke up first

"Father, I will take that responsibility."

He looks like a god.. She thought to herself trying to keep a straight face

"Son, this is not a prince's work to be done." The king said over his shoulder

"Non the less, I will do it."

"Alright, have it your way. I'll have workers provide a room and help her through the night, you can start escorting her in the morning"

"Yes sir" was the humble reply

The king turned and began walking back the way he came

Once he was gone the prince nodded to Gehnsa in a knowledgeably

"Lord Avani" she curtsied

He nodded again and she left

A female elf who looked friendlier walked out to Terrance

Prince Avani smiled and gave a nod in her direction before turning and leaving

"I'll show you to your room" the worker she elf told her
