"This is it?" Terrance asked standing in a random part of the forest, "I mean, we walked two days to this uninhabited part of the woods, the mermaids are just another day's walk, why don't we go ask them if the faryies changed locations"

"They haven't." Avani said firmly, crossing his arms

"Ok." She said with sarcasm while turning around. She took a few steps I front of them and waited

Nothing.

She shifted her weight onto one foot.

"Wait, do you see that?" Terrance asked squinting her eyes

"See what?" Ava asked

Slowly, hundreds of tiny flowing beings that looks like elves with wings but only 4 inches tall began hovering out from behind leaves and branches

"Magnificat." Jed whispered, Terrance hadn't heard him say anything in such astonishment before

A group of three faryies flew up to Terrance

"Prepare, the queen herself shall speak with you." They said in unison before fluttering off.

A few seconds later a slightly larger, more majestic Farie flew up to Terrance.

She made a mental note not to drivel or let her mouth fall open.

"It's such an honor to meet you Farie queen, your beauty is so captivating." She said with her best profession voice

"I'm glad you've come" she smiled back

The way a sparkling dust seemed to fall from them was so curious

"I assume you know why I've come?" Terrance asked

The queen nodded, "and we know you are the heir, that's why I've already placed the stone around you neck."

Terrance tilted her head in confusion before checking her neck. Sure enough, there was another necklace with her collection. Her eyes widened in amazement

"Incredible."

"Its nice to see the elves have a promising leader for their next generation" the queen said to Avani

"Thank you. It's an honor to meet you." Avani said, bowing his head in respect to her

The queen flew past Terrance and over to Ava.

She lightly touched Ava's cheek, "and you child, I know your heart has a very specific wish, why don't you tell me what it is."

"For a way to live together with Marcus forever or to gain more mortality"

The queen moved back slightly but smiled warmly, "there's a necklace with a small cup like vile on it. Any human to drink it shall gain elf-like immortality. Be careful."

Tears threatened to fall down Ava's cheeks in gratitude

"Thank you so so much."

"Your welcome love." The queen said, "and Jed, the magical dragon, I see you doing brilliant things."

Jed nodded

"Now be on your ways." She said with one last smile before all the fairies flew away, out of sight as quickly as they had flew into it.

They all stood silently a few seconds. Digesting what had happened before walking towards the sea in silence.
