He kissed me, and it felt amazing. I stopped. I thought about how much money and time I've put into my career. I could not do this. It wasn't right. I walked up to my best friend here, another doctor.
"Can we trade patients?" She gave me a sympathetic look and squeezed my shoulders.
"Of course. I have a stab wound, pregnant lady, druggie.." She trailed off.
"I'll take the stab wound I told her."
She started giving me the details then asked about Liam.
"Name is Liam Payne. He's 23. Kidney Failure." She gasped.
"Keeley! I can't take that patient." She told me.
"Why not?"
"Liam Payne is famous. One Direction? The band I always talk about?" I nodded, acting like I remembered.
"Okay. I guess I'll stick with it.." I trailed off.
"NO! I want it!" She told me. I handed her the file again.
"Take it."
I watched as Martha walked down the halls to Liam's room, holding back tears.
I wiped my face, trying to concentrate. I walked into the patients room and groaned.
"Seriously Jason? What'd you do this time?"
