-Tiffany POV-

I woke up the next morning, Jaime's arm wrapped around me, our legs intertwined with each others. Slowly unwrapping myself from him, I climbed out of bed and pulled on my jeans and put on one of his sweatshirts. Quickly brushing my hair and teeth with a spare tooth brush, I made my way down stairs to say hello to his parents.

"Good morning Mrs. Reyes." She was just heading out the door, possibly to work. "Hello, Tiffany! You're up early! I was heading off to work, but you can stay as long as you want. Tell Jaime his sister is at the babysitters, okay?" I nodded giving her a small smile. "Thank you. I'll see you later!"

"Yes, I'll see you later." His mom closed the door, locking it before starting her car and leaving.

Walking up the stairs, I looked at the multiple photos on the wall. Most of them were just family photos taken on vacations. But one caught my eye. It was a photo of Jaime and I in the second grade, both of us running around in his background, the photo most likely taken by his father.

Looking at the photo gave me nostalgia, hoping things were like the way they were back then. I shook off that feeling quickly before I broke down in tears and walked into his room.

Jaime was just starting to awaken as soon as I walked in. Stirring in his sleep, I sat by his side and held the hands that warmed my forever cold hands. "Good morning, love." He woke up, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes with his free hand. "Good morning, hermosa." I blushed at his comment.

"Hermosa..."

"Beautiful is what it means." He replied sitting up, pressing his lips on my cheek and getting out of bed. "I'll be back."

I waited in his spiny chair, rolling around the room, waiting for him. As I rolled around I saw the picture I was drawing last night and the letter that was attached to my penny board. Folding the letter and sticking it in my pocket, I placed the picture on his desk hoping he will find it later.

The creak of the door opening made me turn around to face Jaime standing there in new pants but no shirt still. "You wearing one of my sweatshirts?" I nodded quickly play with the sleeves.

"Hope it's okay. I was cold." He sat on his bed and laid there with his hands behind his head. "It's fine. Keep it." I smiled and walked over to the front of the bed to retrieve my shoes. I looked up to see Jaime looking at me, eyeing my lips. To satisfy him, I leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

But he wanted a little more than that. As I turned around, he grabbed my hand, pulling me over to him. I smirked and dropped my shoes on the floor, falling on him. He kissed me with his sleepy lips, making me smile in pleasure. "Lets go break in your new board."

I smiled widely, getting up excitedly. "It's like you read my mind."

"Race you around the block!" I yelled as we walked outside. "Your on, hermano!" Throwing my board on the ground, I kicked off and rode around the block, Jaime way behind me, out of sight.

When I was about to make the turn to go back, I saw a silhouette of a person from the corner of my eye. Shocked, I stopped to get a better look, but when I did the person had vanished.

"Something wrong?" Jaime said rolling up next to me. "Uh nothing." I lied standing on my board. "Lets just go back home. I think there's training in an hour."

"Oh yeah huh. Lets go back home." While riding back home and getting ready to go, I couldn't help and think about the person. I don't know why, but i can sense it was important.

"Ready to go, Tiff?" Jaime was waiting for me by the front door with both of my boards in his hands.

"Guess you have to hold the penny board. Other than that we're ready." I nodded in agreement as he kissed my forehead. "Then lets get going."
