While all that was happening...
Veronica was looking for the cheerleaders but they weren't anywhere to be seen. Finally, she found them in the gym with a laptop beside them.
"There you guys are. I've been looking for you everywhere!" She exclaimed.
"We need to talk," Lily told her.
"Ok...what do we need to talk about?" Veronica asked.
"Ryan." She told her.
Veronica instantly smiled.
"What about him?" She asked.
'Do you like him?" She asked.
"Yeah." Veronica smiled.
"Do you know the truth about him?" She asked.
"What?" Veronica was confused. _______________________________________
"There you are Sharpay I've been looking for you everywhere." Ryan entered the music room.
"What do you want?" Sharpay fake cried and fixed the camera that Ryan didn't notice.
"Why are you crying?" He asked her.
"Because you are going to the auditions with Veronica and you're gonna forget about me." She faked cried.
"I would never forget about you." Ryan told her. _______________________________________
The cheerleaders turned on the laptop and Ryan's face popped up. Veronica watched.
"But I thought-" Sharpay's voice came from the laptop.
"You thought wrong ok? Veronica is just a girl I met at a stupid party. She is not important. I'll forget about her! I'll forget about the auditions! I'll forget about everything. Ok!" Ryan yelled.
"Thank you, Ryan!" Sharpay suddenly stopped crying and kissed him on the cheek.
"What just happened?" Ryan said in a confused tone.
The cheerleaders shut down the laptop as a tear left Veronica's eye. They were so stupid that they didn't even realize it.
"We got our captain back!" Chad shouted as he entered the gym.
"And we got our head cheerleader back!" Lola screamed.
Veronica wiped her tear.
"Go Wildcats!" Troy and Veronica screamed and all of them went to the cafeteria. _______________________________________
Gabriella was heartbroken as the enthusiastic Wildcats passed her.
"Wildcats!" Chad exclaimed.
"Get your head in the game! Whoo! Let's go!" All of them screamed.
Gabriella was still in the classroom as she heard some commotion from the window.
"Go, Wildcats!" Veronica screamed.
The Wildcats have decided to throw a celebration as Gabriella observed from the window. She saw Troy and Veronica in the middle of it all.
"Veronica! Veronica! Veronica! Veronica!...." The girls in the crowd screamed.
"Troy, Troy, Troy, Troy!" The boys in the crowd screamed.

Gabriella walked over to her locker as Troy, unaware that Gabriella knew what he said, made his way over to her.
"Hey, how you doin?" Troy asked her.
Gabriella didn't reply.
"Listen, there's something I wanna talk to you about-" He began.
"And here it is: I know what it's like to carry a load with your friends. I get it. You've got your boys, Troy. It's okay. So we're good." Gabriella faced him.
"Good about what? I was gonna talk to you about the final callbacks." He told her
"I don't wanna do the callbacks either. Who are we trying to kid? You've got your team and now I've got mine. I'll do the scholastic decathlon and you'll win the championships. It's where we belong." She reached into her locker and handed Troy her copy of Breaking Free.
"Go, Wildcats, " with that she left.
"But I-" He began
"Me neither." She turned around.
"Gabriella?" He was very confused. _______________________________________
Veronica was at her locker. Ryan approached her unaware that she knew what he said.
"Hi." Ryan appeared.
She didn't answer.
"This is the part where you go ' Hey.' And we smile at each other." Ryan told her.
She still didn't answer.
"Ok...well I was going to talk about the callbacks-" He began.
"It's ok I don't wanna do them anymore either," Veronica told her.
"What? No. I was going to say-" He began again.
"It's ok, I understand, you have your sister and I have my girls. Goodbye Ryan." Veronica faced him
"V-" He began.
"Veronica." She corrected him.
He looked hurt and Veronica walked off.
