The study session

About a week has passed. Makoto had been trying to avoid Leon as much as possible. Better not to get close at all, then to get caught in an awkward situation! He instead, was trying his best to befriend Mondo who he found funny and Sayaka who he found sweet. School life was still relatively simple so far with minimum work. It was the second week after all. Leon however, was already struggling with what little work he had. He had never been much for studying or doing school work. But he was thinking that maybe if he did his work, it'd impress the little dork he had met last week. But *ahem* he's totally not into dudes. Chicks all the way man. Totally.
The bell rang, signalling the end of class for the day. Leon stood and nonchalantly turned to Makoto who was gathering his things.
"Heeey... So uh... Ya look pretty smart... Mind helpin me with this bullshit?" He held up their homework for the day. Makoto internally cried 'I can't win...'
"U-uh... Sure! Wanna uh... Come to my dorm then oooor....?" He blushed as his mind wandered again.
"Yeah! Sounds cool!" Leon smiled. Makoto gulped and nodded. He led Leon to his dorm and let him in. He shyly sat on his bed, taking his homework out, along with a pencil. Leon sat beside Makoto, close enough that his leg brushed Makotos. Makoto blushed madly. 'Have mercy on me!' He internally screamed. Leon on the other hand, hadn't noticed.
"O-okay so... The easiest way to do this problem is uh...like this...." He showed Leon how it worked. Leon looked completely lost.
"Nope. Fuck it. I give up." He said conclusively.
"Whaaaat??? You didn't even try!"
"Eeeh..... I ain't feelin it..." Leon shrugged.
"Then why did you ask me for help?!" Makoto didn't know how to feel. Leon shrugged again.
"I dunno. I was bored."
"You were bored. So you ask me to teach you math?"
"I said I was bored, I didn't say I was smart!" Leon laughed as he said it.
"Wow. Okay.... So uh.... Now what?"
"Dunno. See any chicks you wanna try out yet?" He asked in attempts to make conversation. Makoto refrained from facepalming.
"U-uh........."
"Uh? C'ome on there's gotta be someone! How bout Sayaka? She's pretty hot! I'd "study" with her after class if ya know what I mean!" He winked, smirking. He laughed at his own joke. Makoto was unamused. 'Why does he have to be so hot but then be such an ass?'
"Uhhh....."
"Ya broken dude? How bout Hina? She's alright! I'd rather have Sayaka but I guess I'd be alright with tryin Hina! Boobs, man!" He stuck his tongue out.
"C-can we not talk about this....? Please?" He didn't want to try any girls.
"Damn... You okay?" Leon looked at him strangely.
"I'm fine. I'm just.... Not into that stuff...."
"Not into sex or somethin? Or girls? Wait are you gay?!" Leon asked without thinking. Makoto blushed, unable to answer.
"Dude?" Leon persisted.
"N-no...." Makoto finally answered, quite untruthfully. Leon looked at him skeptically.
"What?! I'm not gay!" Makoto shouted.
"Damn, damn okay! Jeez..." Leon put his hands up in defeat. Makoto looked away
"Sorry...." Makoto responded
"Nah its good! But if you're not gay, how come ya get all weird when I talk about bangin girls?" Leon persisted. Makoto groaned.
"Fine! I'm gay okay?! Now go ahead and get grossed out and tell everyone..." He grumbled. 'And there I go.... Just spilling my business after a week....' Leon looked at Makoto blankly for a bit.
"Oh.... Uh... Shit... Well umm.. If it makes ya feel any better.... Don't tell no one but uh... I'm uh...bisexual so its all good here..." He rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. Makoto's eyes widened slightly.
"Really?! Wow! Cool!" He smiled at Leon.
"Yeah.... Don't tell no one though.... Cuz uh... I'm supposed ta only be into chicks ya know?"
"Huh? Why do you have to only be into chicks? Why can't you just love who you love? If it makes you happy, then... That's all that should matter!" He smiled sweetly at Leon.
"Yeah.... Well... Ya know.... I ain't gonna get laid as much if people know I like dudes so.... And uh... I ain't really into the whole "love" thing.... Its too much commitment! I like to go one and done! Like a wham, bam, thank you ma'am kinda thing ya know?"
"Wow.... Um.... Okay..." Makoto kept his gaze away.
"What? I say somethin wrong?" Leon was oblivious.
"N-no! Its nothing! Uh... I'm kinda tired so...."
"Ah I got ya. I'll see ya tomorrow Naegi!" He ruffled Makoto's hair gently. Makoto blushed slightly. He couldn't help but smile just a little. "Y-yeah! See you!" Leon smiled and left. Makoto laid in bed, his feelings and thoughts all one big jumble.
