11) Falling For Her

Emma's POV

I was walking into the back of the diner when I trip and ran into Killian.

"Did you ever learn to walk?" He jokes.

"Shut up." I say laughing at him.

"Your such a dork and thats why your my friend." He says to me.

"Hey! Me being a dork is the only reason why were friends?" I ask him.

"Yep. Thats way Swan." He says to me.

"Hey shut it Captain." I say to him.

"You havent called me that in years." He told me.

"Well you havent dressed like a pirate for years." I say jokingly.

"I hate you." He says laughing at me.

"No you dont." I say to him.

"Anyway why did you come from the back of the diner?" He asks me.

"I can to check in on Ruby. Its been hard on her since her Grandma pasted." I say to him.

"Well thats very sweet of you." He says.

"Why thank you." I say to him.

"I better get going. Im going to meet up with Milah. I'll see you later." He says to me and walks out.

I walked over to Ruby as she was trying do the paper work.

"Hey Ruby. Need help?" I offer her.

"No thank you. I have to do this." She to me.

"If there is anything you can just let me know." I say to her.

"I need something fun to do." She says

"Arnt you working? Isnt that fun?" I ask her.

"Well the other day I over heard Regina tell Belle and Zelena that Robin asked her out." She tells me.

"Ruby your working here not listen to gossip." I tell her.

"I also heard Killian talking to Robin." She says.

"So Killian was talking with Robin. Probably about guy stuff." I tel her.

"Well Killian told Robin that he thinks he is falling for her." He says to me.

"Thats nice. If that all I have to go." I say and walked out.

I knew Killian was in love with Milah and I know one day he will marry her and he will forget all about me. The thought of losing him again hurt.
