I watch out the window as we pull into the driveway. I'm going to meet his mom and dad I don't know how I feel about that right now.

"You coming," Jacob asked grabbing my hand

"I think I should stay out here."

"My parents are not going to bite you."

I take a deep breath as he leads me up to the porch and into the house.

"Jacob is that you" A woman's voice travels into the room from one of the others.

"Yeah mom" he answers her

"It's about time," she says stepping out of the room

Mrs. Kid is tall with long black hair, and golden kissed skin. To me, she doesn't look old enough to have a son Jacobs age. When she looks at me, I see her eyes are a bright green color."Oh," she says "Hi, I'm Rachel Kid."

"Hey" I take her outreach head shaking it

"Mom this is Andi" Jacob

"It's nice to meet you," she tells me then to Jacob "Your late."

"Sorry about that," he tells her

"You know I don't like being late."

"Mom your not late you still have three hours before you have to be there" he points out

"Your father's late as will."

"Will he is always late."

"Alright"

"Where's Sabrina"

"In her room."

"We're going up, don't work too heard, " he tells her

Her eyes wash over me

"Try not to get into any trouble," she tells him

He smiles then drags me up the stairs.

"Jake," A tall man with gray hair, says

You can look at him and tell his Jacobs father; they look that much alike. Except his gray hair, and I am thinking if this is what Jacob's going to look like when he gets older then some women is going to be one hell of a lucky girl.

"Yeah," Jacob asked

"This came in the mail for you."

He hands him a note, then smiles at me.

"Hi" he addresses me

"Hey"

"Dad this is Andi" then to me "Andi my dad, Jacob Kid."

I look at him; I had no idea

"Yeah I'm a Junior don't tell anyone" he smiles

"There is no shame in being named after your father. Just wait till you  have a son you can call him Jacob the third" his father says

I smile trying not to laugh

"Yeah, no thank you. He'll have his own identity" Jacob tells him

"I like the name Jacob," I tell him

He looks down at me

"See son; she knows Jacob is a good strong name."

His smiling at me as I smile up at him

"Yeah will still no."

"Will you two have a great evening I have to go"? Mr. Kid says

He walks past us on his way down; I take a little time to admire at least one or two of the portraits that hang on the wall. Then again Jacob drags me up to another set of stairs.
