That weekend I get up early to wait on Jacob to get me to go house hunting. After I shower and dress, I head down to get me a bite to eat before he got there. Daddy is in the kitchen as I walk in standing over the stove.

"Good morning sweetheart," he says

"Morning Daddy,"

"Are we still mad?" he asked

"No, I just need you to understand my point of view."

He nods "And I need you to see where I am coming from."

"I do, I understand that you are trying to protect me. But daddy, I'm having a baby, I'm having Jacob's baby. He wants to be apart of our child's life, and I'm not going to take his rights away from him. I trust him and once you get to know him instead of judging him by his decisions you will too."

He nods

"You going out looking for a house today," he asked

"Yes, Jacob should be here in a little bit to get me."

"I um got a list of address you can go look at," he tells me

I step around the island to hug his neck

"Think you daddy" I have tears in my eyes

"I just want you happy."

"And I will be, I love you."

"I love you too, what about Sabrina where is she going to be today."

I let him go standing there beside him

"She's staying with Jacob's mom and dad today."

He nods

"Would you like some eggs?" he asked

I laugh

" I would."

I set down on the island, and daddy set down beside me.

"You know," Daddy says "If you ever need me to look after Sabrina I will be happy too. I mean you're going to be moving in with them, and you're having his child, and she or he will call me grandpa so I don't see why Sabrina couldn't either."

"She'll be happy to hear that," Jacob says coming into the kitchen

"Hey" I turn to him

"Hi, your door was wide open," he tells us

"I'll check it out before I leave for work, you be careful," Daddy tells me

"Ok, love you"I lean over kissing his cheek

"Love you too."

Jacob and I head out

"So your dad seems cool about everything now," Jacob says

"I think his just having a little trouble with the fact that his little girl is all grown up."

"Will not completely."

I look over at him giving him a what you are talking about look; he snickers at me.

"I have a list of houses from daddy and a list from Bea," I tell him

"Good, I also have a list."

"Maybe we should put them together," I tell him "The once I have are not that long. Bea gave me three addresses and daddy gave me four."

"Alright" he hands me a piece of paper

I take it then take a pin out jotting down the addresses onto one piece of paper.
