It really did hurt seeing him every day.

The loud beeping of your alarm rang through your ears, waking you up. The smell of the room was different from your normal dorms, and that's when you remembered you were at your friend's house. Rubbing the sleep from your eyes, a sigh left your mouth, remembering the previous day.

The day Wonwoo had broken up with you.

You were so confused, shocked, and most importantly hurt. How were you supposed to continue your job normally when you knew the second you would layed eyes on him, your emotions would come crashing down on you?

Nevertheless, the job gave you enough income to support yourself, so you couldn't quit. Knowing how lazy you are, you wouldn't find a better job if you did. So, you sucked it up and began getting ready to work for your, now, ex-boyfriend.

The large Pledis entrance doors reflected yourself and you sighed again.

You looked like shit.

With a shake to your head, you enter the building and are immediately greeted by the secretary at the front desk.

"The boys are in the practice room as usual, (Y/N)."

You thanked her then stepped into the elevator, leading upstairs. Although the music softly playing was calming, your mind was thinking otherwise. The palm of your hands began sweating as you thought about how awkward it would be once you walked in.

God, it was gonna be really awkward.

Unfortunately, the elevator doors opened and you saw the door of the practice room across from you. You heard the loud music and laughing from the inside of the room which you usually smiled at, but this just made you even more nervous. Walking out the elevator, you reached out to the doorknob and took a deep breath, clutching onto your planner and folders.

You opened the door, immediately meeting eyes with Wonwoo. Everyone stopped talking. You pursed your lips together and softly closes the door behind you, movements stiff.

"H-Hey, (Y/N)," Seungcheol greeted from across the room, noticing the sudden silence.

The energy in the room you once felt completely at home in was now foreign to you. However, you couldn't keep dwelling on how you felt and had to focus on your job.

"I, uh, have some plans for you guys," you started, walking towards them as they gathered in a circle. As all of you sat down in a big circle, you felt yourself sweating, seeing Wonwoo right across from you.

"S-So, you have an interview on Sunday at 3 PM for a radio show," you informed them, avoiding their gazes. Your voice was shaky unlike your confident and playful tone you usually talk to them to.

"Wait, scratch that, I meant 3:30—wait, no, it's 3:15. And it's on Sunday—not Saturday," you stuttered which made some of the boys chuckle at you.

You flickered your eyes up to meet Wonwoo's, who wasn't even looking at you and seemed more interested in the dust on the floor than to what you were saying. It really was like you were strangers once again.

You explained more interviews and performances to the boys before you had nothing left to announce.

"Is that all, (Y/N)?" Seungcheol asked.

"Um, yes. For now. I'll, uh, probably come back later today if I get any more calls."

Once you finished your sentence, you quickly gathered your stuff in your hands. Just to your luck, you were so nervous you dropped your folders. Papers scattered all over the floor.
