I've never been so nervous yet so excited in my life! I've been excepted to be in a trainee at Pledis. Who would've thought that they would choose me to be a trainee? I can wait to meet all of the bands I'm going to be working with. Are they the same age as me? Do they know about me? I can't believe this! Is this real?
When I finally looked up from talking to myself, I was in front of the Pledis building. Well, that was fast. When I got to the door, I was about to pull out my pass but, he just opened the door saying he knows me. How does he already know of me? I bow and walk into a waiting room. A very pretty assistant looking lady walked up to me with a huge smile.
"Are you Miss Y/N?"
"That's me."
"I'm Park Lim."
"It's nice to meet you." I was about to bow but she stopped me.
"You don't have to do that to me Miss. It's vice versa." She bowed at me and asked me to follow her.
As we were walking, there were so many posters of the artist that are signed to this company. One particularly caught my eye. I stopped Park Lim and asked who they were.
"Their group's name is Seventeen. There are 13 members. 3 of them are your age. You are 17 right?" I nodded at her and pointed out Vernon, Seungkwan, and Minghao/The8. The8 caught my eye for some reason and Park Lim notice my staring.
"Miss Y/N, do you have an interest in Minghao?" I looked at her and laughed shyly. She smiled and turned to walk me to a dance studio. As we walk in, I see a lot of boys.
"Excuse me, Seventeen?" My eyes widened when they turned around. They were all so good-looking. They all smiled and walked up to us, looking at me with wide eyes.
"This is Y/N, the new trainee of Pledis. Please greet her. I have a meeting to go to." I looked like, what are you doing and winked and walked away. How am I supposed to be the only girl in a room full of good-looking boys? I look at them and smile shyly, not knowing what to say. Then, Seungkwan, I think, tried saying something in English.
"Are you...foreigner?" I smiled at his attempt to speak English and answered him in Korean.
"Yes, I am. I'm from China, nice to meet you all." They look at me with a surprised look on their faces. Then a handsome, Chinese looking boy walks up to me and asks me if I know Chinese, in Chinese. I nodded and he smiled pulling Minghao up with him.
"We're also Chinese. This is Minghao, I'm Jun."
I bowed to them and asked them for their names. Jun turned around and translated while Minghao and I looked at each other. He's very handsome up-close. Jun taps him and he finally looked at him. They went to go get something and I was left with the Korean members. I asked them in English.
"I'm sorry this is random but, do any of you know English?" A very calm looking guy's face lit up and walked up with a mixed looking guy at his side.
"Vernon and I are the English line. I'm Joshua." I bowed at both of them. Vernon finally spoke up.
"How'd you learn English?"
"My mom is Chinese and my dad is Caucasian so, my dad taught me when I was young."
"You're mixed too?! So am I!" He put his hand out so I'm guessing he wanted a high five. I smiled and high fived him and they went with The8 and Jun, I'm guessing. I was left with the 9 Korean members that I learned were named Seungcheol, Jeonghan, Mingyu, Wonwoo, Woozi, Seungkwan, Dino, Dokyum, and Hoshi. Hopefully, we can get closer in the future.
*next day*
When I walk into the Pledis building, I see Park Lim again. She sits me down and tells me the plan.
"So, today you have dance rehearsal with someone special." She smirks at me and I look at her, confused. She tells me to go to the dance studio to see who that special someone is. As I'm walking, I can hear a very catchy son playing. When I open the door I see....
