I walked back into my room, slowly closing the door. God, I was so damn annoyed. And far less tired. Drinking coffee as soon as I woke up was definitely not the best idea, I must admit. Taking a look to my right, I sigh as I looked out of the window.

Really, a walk was best for me, to help me clear my head, but no way Julius would let me out when it's so dark.

But then again, Julius doesn't need to know, does he?

I slowly and more importantly, quietly open the window. I quickly put a top on (I'm guessing you've come to realize that I sleep topless.) and grab one of Alice's hair pins. I currently had two in my hair to pin my fringe back. Cautiously, I climb out of the window and carefully place a pin between the lock latch; the window was almost closed, the pin being the only reason it was open.

I just hope it doesn't fall out of place. Then I'll have to use the front door to come inside...

The Clock Tower was... well, it was a tower, yet there was a small building attatched to it that was out of view from the front. The small building was basically my room, the kitchen, etc. Right behind the building was the forest, and that was probably how the twins came here a couple chapt— days back.

I pause after entering the forest.

If Dum and Dee came to the Clock Tower through here, then doesn't that mean... that the Hatters Mansion is at the end of the forest?

I hear a rustle, and my head instantly turns towards the direction of the sound.

It gets louder, and louder, as if the cause of it was getting closer. I conclude that it was indeed getting closer.

My heart's beating. God, I'm probably going to get killed if it's a person. Shot dead by a Heart Resident. Great.

"A— Alex?!" His arm returns back to his side, the gun held loosely.

I let out a sigh of relief, "God, Boris you scared the shit out of me."

"Idiot!" He frowns, "I thought you were" — he stops — "an um... er, well, I was going to shoot you! Be more careful!"

"Be more careful?" I repeat, "It's not my fault you're paranoid! I could've been a rabbit or something!"

He rolls his eyes, "No one will notice if Peter gets shot. And besides, you're not a rabbit! Ah— Idiot, you're missing the point! I could've killed you or something!!"

"You're the one walking alone in a forest," I huff, though slightly hypocritical. "What are you doing out here, anyway?"

"I can ask you the same thing!" He snaps as he puts a hand on his hip, "What were you doing out here, Alex?"

"I asked you first." I hold my arms.

Boris starts to yell, though I'm not even listening because I've focused on something else.

Boris and I were having a sass fight.

A bluddy sass fight.

Though I'm not even sassy! (No, I still haven't given up. I'm not sassy, damn it.)

"Hey!" He's much louder, and snaps my trail of thought.

I look at him, "Hm?"

"You weren't even paying attention! Answer the question, Alex."

I scratch the back of my hair, "God Boris, all you do is talk. What was the question, anyway?"

He repeats the question, and I suddenly remember why I came into the forest. Boris and I sit down and I frown as I tell him why I'm in the forest.

"Is that it?" He leans backwards and lays down, his huge boa acting as a pillow. "You're such a drama queen, Alex."

I gasp, "Am not! Sorry I don't like the thought of having my best friends face plastered onto a stranger."

"It's not that bad, is it?" He looks at me.

"What would you do if someone suddenly had the same face as Dee?"

Boris pauses and raises an eyebrow, "Dee, Dum and—"

"—Don't." I hiss. That was not the answer I was looking for, Boris.

I open my mouth to comment, but yawn instead. Boris sighs, "Go back to the Clock Tower, Alex. You sound sleepy."

"You didn't answer my question, y'know." I lean back, laying next to Boris with my head on the boa.

He blinks, "What question?"

"We asked eachother the same question! Why are you in the forest?"

Boris shrugs, "I was sneaking into the castle."

I give him a blank stare, "The last time you did that Alice had to rescue you, remember?"

He blushes slightly, his cheeks the same colour as his hair, "Wh- She told you about that?"

Grinning, I reply with, "Of course. The great Cheshire Cat, Boris Airay, wounded and rescued by a girl."

"Th— That's not how it happened!" He protests, "Oi, are you even listening? You believe me, right? That I didn't get rescued by a girl?"

A smile appears on my lips. God, he's so defensive. I laugh, "Alright, alright, I believe you."

He starts talking again (When with Alice, she said that he preferred action over words, so I'm glad that all he does is talk, even if it's annoying.) and I yawn, though do my best to quiet it down. Can you make a yawn quiet?

Boris's words seem to slow down, and my eyes begin to droop.

My name is the only thing I hear before I fall alseep.
