After a couple of minutes, Luna pulled away from the kiss and looked at Draco in the eyes, panting. Draco couldn't resist. He wanted to carry on kissing Luna. His Luna. But as he leaned forward again, Luna looked away.

Luna turned to where Harry was sitting down, and realised he had dissapeared. She felt a huge load of pain crash against her chest, knowing that Harry saw everything. Luna didn't have the time to explain to him why she was doing it. Harry must have run away, dissapointed in her, she thought.

Draco noticed the sad look on Luna's faced and asked, "Was it bad?"

Draco's voice broke Luna's thougths, as she quickly turned to look at him.

"No, it was fine." She replied, forcing a smile. She shouldn't upste Draco, she thought. "Thank you."

"Thank you." Draco corrected emphasising the 'you'. "Luna, words can't describe how happy you made me feel. But I wonder, why did you do it?"

Luna began to feel quite nervous. She didn't exactly know what to say. She did it to save Harry, but she couldn't possibly tell Draco that.

"You don't love me, so why?" Draco added. His voice sounded husky, and Luna could sense there was an angry tone to it.

But as she heard Draco say the word love, she couldn't help but flinch. She didn't love him, that's true. Luna felt stupid knowing she had just pleased Draco. Words can't describe how happy you made me feel. Luna wanted to regret kissing him, but as those words played over in her head a part of her was a bit smug about it.

"I felt it was the right time." Luna whispered looking down at her feet. "And I do."

Luna forced the words, and sighed when she had blurted them out.

Draco narrowed his eyes at Luna's last words. She had her eyes closed and was biting her lower lip. Luna was almost holding her breath trying to control her shaking.

Luna had admitted she did infact love Draco. Luna promised herself she would do anything to save Harry, and if lying had to come of it, she would do it. And so she did.

Goose bumps started to litter Draco's skin as he carried on watching Luna. The way she was biting her lower lip sent sparks down his spine. He wanted to scoop her from her feet and kiss her endlessly. But Draco still didn't feel convinced with Luna's words.

"You don't." Draco fired stepping closer to Luna. The tingles running loose around Draco's body were hard to control, but he needed to sound fierce infront of her.

Luna felt intimidated and stepped back, still looking down at her feet.

"Look at me Lovegood!" Draco shouted.

Luna fired her head up at the sound of her surname. Luna was the only person Draco called by her first name, and to use her surname made Luna quite scared.

Draco noticed the frightened look on her face and immidiately dropped the act. He didn't apologise however, but what he did do was take Luna's hand in his.

"Say you love me Luna." Draco pleeded in a whisper, while offering Luna a gentle smile.

Luna was now shaking recklessly. The touch of Draco's cold skin made her flinch slightly. She was scared he might hurt her. But Luna soon realised that Draco had called her by her first name again and so she slowly began to calm down.

"Say it." Draco tightened his grip on her hand. His eyes looked as if they were beginning to swell up with tears, but he clenched his teeth to control them.

"I do." Luna muttered.

"Do what?" Draco demanded fighting back the tears.

"I do love you."

And by that, Luna began to cry. Her tears snaked down her cheeks uncontrollably. She fidgeted, trying to release herself from Draco's grip. And as she succeeded, she raised both hands to her face and tried to wipe away the tears.

The part of her that was feeling smug about kissing Draco had vanished. Luna was now completely scared of Draco. She didn't know what he was going to do, but she had to agree to it. All because she made a promise to herself.

Luna wasn't going to break that promise any time soon. She would adjust to finding a way of loving Draco. She just needed time.

Luna carried on crying, and Draco only watched. Speechless. Draco believed Luna's lie. He thought Luna was crying of happiness and so decided to leave her on her own until she calmed down.

Draco walked back to the castle with a huge grin covering his face.
