Chapter 35. Breaks Over

I stood there not knowin what to say, or more important how to say tell her the truth. Aakil was lookin at me like he didnt care if I was about to out his ass or not. Emoly was still lookin at me just as confused as I felt.

Yatta: THIS YO BOYFRIEND!?(I yelled pointin at him)
Emoly: Boy nah Aakil dont play for my team.(she laughed)
Yatta: Oh.(I sighed in relief)
Aakil: Damn thats fucked up u was gone out my ass if I was?
Yatta: HELL YEA! I wasnt about to let my cousin keep fuckin wit u if u was her dude.
Emoly: Im glad to know u got my back, but nah he talk to one of my friends. We ended up gettin close after they stopped now he like a big brother to me. 
Yatta: Aw ok. 
Emoly: Then u think his ass would be able to hide the fact the he own a gay club from me?(she asked laughin)
Yatta: Hey u never know.(I said laughin and shrugging my shoulders)
Emoly: Nah boo we dont have no dumb asses in this family.
Aakil: Wait so yall related?(he asked confused)
Emoly: Yea this my cousin from my uncle Mark the one that passed away.
Aakil: OOHHH thats his son, but I thought they had a daughter?
Emoly: We all did, but nope. Whatever happened wit that any?(she asked lookin at me)
Yatta: Uh...Yea about that. 
Emoly: What do u have a sister?
Yatta: I'll talk to u about that later.
Aakil: Damn man this crazy who wouldve thought yall was family.
Emoly: Wait is my cousin the boy u were always talkin about?
Aakil: Yea he the one thats always turnin me down actin all in love and shit.
Yatta: Well im sorry, but its not an act.(I said smilin)
Aakil: See what im talkin about?(he laughed)
Emoly: Boy leave him alone. Come on Yatta.

Em introduced me to her real boyfriend Thomas who was pretty cool. He was a true chocolate boy from his skin color to his black hair, and brown eyes. Seeing them interact with eachother reminded me of how I act with Tae. They were just so cute together, and I just kept smilin at them unconsciously.

Emoly: Yatta are u ok?(she laughed)
Yatta: Yea im sorry yall just remind me of my own relationship. Its nice to see other happy couples, and know that your not alone.
Thomas: Oh so u got a girl?
Yatta: Nah im female-intolerant.(I laughed)

He looked at me for a second confused and then he figured out what I meant.

Thomas: Ooohh ok.(he laughed)
Emoly: Bae u so slow.(she said shakin her head)
Thomas: So yo dude here?
Yatta: Actually thats him walkin up right now.(I said pointin at Tae)
Tae: I like how yall just disappeared on me though.
Yatta: Sorry bae.(I laughed) This Emoly boyfriend Thomas.
Tae: Whats goods bruh.
Thomas: Wussup.
Tae: Bae u know that one dude here thats always tryna flirt wit u and shit?
Yatta: Yea turns out thats Emoly friend.
Tae: Oh for a second I thought yall was related.
Emoly: Aakil might as well be in the family because everybody treat him like it.
Yatta: I swear Florida just gets smaller and smaller the longer im here.(I laughed)
Tae: Reggie said he ready whenever u are shawty.
Yatta: They wanna leave arleady?(I asked disappointed)
Tae: Yea he gotta work tomorrow, and I got practice too anyway.
Yatta: Aw ok well I'll call u later Em.
Em: Ok boo give me a hug.

Before we said bye to everybody my aunt made us plates to take home. Yall know I wasnt leavin without food especially on thanksgiving of all holidays. When we got back to our dorm I changed my cloths then laid down on the couch watchin tv. For some reason my mind started to wonder, and I couldnt help thinkin about the baby. Tae had came back out of his room in just some joggin pants, and cuddled up behind me.

Tae: Whats wrong shawty?
Yatta: Nothin.
Tae: Bae I thought we went over this already?
Yatta: Ok ok I was thinkin about the baby.
Tae: Why whats wrong?(he asked concerned)
Yatta: I just been thinkin like. What if...it come out like me?
Tae: I dont get it.
Yatta: Im sayin what if it come out weird like me. I would hate for our child to have the same burden that I do.
Tae: Its not a burden shawty.
Yatta: Then what u call it, a blessing?
Tae: Yea bae. Look u thinkin to hard about all this just stop worryin shawty. 
Yatta: But-
Tae: No buts just relax boo.(he said kissin my neck)
Yatta: How can u always be so calm about everything?(I asked turnin over to look at him)
Tae: Because if we both act worried that wouldnt do nothin but stress us both out. Then we would start arguin all the time, and after that last one we had I aint tryna go there no more.
Yatta: That was the only one we had.(I laughed)
Tae: I know, and im tryna keep it that way.(he smiled) U dont think I be nervous about all this shit too. I just dont let it bother me though because at the end of the day everything gone work out shawty.(he said wrappin his arms around me kissin my forehead)
Yatta: I hope so.(I said restin my head against his chest as I fell to sleep)

All the years of stuff in my life being so fucked up I never thought I could be this happy. Its like god has finally stepped in and taken control of everything, or maybe he always has been in contorl just waitin for the right moment. Whatever the case I know Tae is my own personal gift from him personally, and I cant think of a way to thank him for puttin this man in my life. I woke up the next morning tryna get back into the groove of my regular program. Tae was already up and at em by the time I woke up to start gettin ready. 

Tae: Mornin shawty.(he said kissin me)
Yatta: Hey big head.(I smiled)
Tae: Dont forget I got practice today bae so I wont be back until late.
Yatta: I remember shawty.(I laughed mockin him)
Tae: U got jokes.(I laughed) 

We kissed eachother goodbye before goin our seperate ways to class. I met up wit Quan and L before so we could get some breakfast cuz I was hungry as fuck.

L: Damn Kenny slow down?(he laughed)
Quan: Shut up nigga.
Yatta: Thank u juice. So how was yall thanksgiving?
Quan: It was koo I aint really do shit.
L: I was just chillin wit my nigga Nick.
Quan: Just chillin huh?(he laughed)
L: Yea nigga, but why the fuck u sayin it like that?(he asked wit a attitude)
Quan: Why u always get so defensive when it come to ole boy I just be fuckin wit u?
L: Yea whatever.
Quan: L its cool man I dont care if u fuckin around wit Nick u still gone be like a brother to me.(he said sincerely)

L looked at Quan shocked that those words had just came out of his mouth, and then at me. Honestly it shocked the fuck out of me so much I has to stop eating. It was an awkward silence as we both just stared at Quan like he was crazy. I put my hands up to Quan forehead tryna see if he had a fever just to be funny.

Quan: Get the fuck off me lil bit.(he said laughin pushin my hand)
Yatta: U must be sick or something cuz this aint the juice I know.(I laughed)
L: U really mean that?
Quan: Yea man I mean im not really in a position to judge u cuz im in love wit a dude my damn self.
L: Get the fuck outta here are u serious?(he laughed in disbelief)
Quan: Yea nigga, but dont start questioning me about shit just know that u good bro.
L: I just got one question though. How did u know?

Quan looked at me then L looked at me too, and I put my head down to continue eating tryna ignore them. I looked back up to see them both starin at me.

Yatta: What?(I laughed)
L: U told him?
Yatta: I mean its not like I just blurted it out.
Quan: L it dont even matter.
L: So that mean u know about-
Quan: Yea I know yall use to date.(he said cuttin him off)
L: Oh.
Yatta: Okay um I think we gone be late for class.(I said gettin up)

Damn its crazy how that moment got awkward that fast. The rest of the day was such a drag, and this being the first day back in school really wasnt helping. My syllabus for each class had a shit ton of work leading up to Christmas break, and I wasnt too happy about that. On my way back to my car I got stopped by one of the most unexpected people ever...Nick.

Nick: Aye Yatta u got a minute?(he said joggin tryna catch up to me)

I was caught off gaurd by the fact that he even knew my name. Then I was more curious about what the hell he had to talk to me about.

Yatta: Uhh. Yea sure wussup?
