Chapter 6•Run ins

Chat Blanc ran around the empty city. A fire burning deep inside his soul to visit Marinette. Yet, the flames were well kept by the Akuma controlling his every movement.

Well, more like having the chance to control his every movement. The annoying bird-insect that controlled the akuma was absent. So, the cat was on the streets in search of revenge.

Revenge, quite a strong word. But, tonight, he felt an itch. An itch he couldn't scratch without the bug smushed out of he and Marinette's life. The bug would be smushed like his heart. Completely and utterly demolished.

Besides when word gets out Chat Blanc is in. He'll get the attention he deserves not his partner dressed in some red and black dotted uniform. What was the big deal about a Ladybug anyway?

The anger and frustration in his small (smol) body was light. Burning, the tiny fire became a natural disaster. There she stood, the 'heroine' in red.

"Chat Blanc! Stop, it's me your friend, your partner!" Ladybug warned as she held her hand on the yo-yo on the defensive. Chat growled to himself, eyes still connected to the venomous bug.

"You think you can stop me!" Chat Blanc hissed, on the inside Adrien pleaded with his alternative.

"I know I can't, but I won't stop myself from trying." Ladybug cried to her partners alter self. His once black claws and mangy tail turned white.

His once bright smile, turned downright to a glare awaiting an attack. But Ladybug knew, she knew, he was still there.

"What would Marinette think about this!" Ladybug hit a soft spot as Chat Blanc winced. Little did the insect know, they were fine. Except they'd be better without her.

Chat attacked, full force, the bug didn't have time to react and was flung backwards by the cats pounce. His claws were retracting slowly, white teeth gritted. Ladybug awkwardly smiled at Chat.

"Marinette wouldn't agree to you doing this." Ladybug winced as the cat pressured his claws into her arms as he pinned her down.

Chat Blanc went wide eyed for a moment, his grip loosening on her forearm. She took the opportunity and kicked him off of her.

Ladybug quickly pushed herself away from Chat Blanc. And she quickly brought herself back to her feet. As Chat looked dazed as he sat on the floor.

"Marinette wouldn't want you this way would she!" Ladybug mocked again, as you could see the hero visibly cracking. When she felt her own heart ache she saw a purple figure illuminate ILLUMINATI his face.

"Get out of there!" A scream was heard from Chat Blanc's direction as the teen scampered up immediately and ran off. Tempted to follow behind Ladybug turned the opposite direction heading home to become her true self.

Prepared for awkwardly written makeout scene #2?

"Tikki, I messed up..." Marinette sighed as she dug her fingers into her thick jet black hair. Tikki set a soothing hand on her shoulder.

"Stay calm Marin-" Tikki was cut off by a pounding on the window. The red Kwami hurriedly slipped into Marinette's purse.

"Hello, Princess?" A cat pondered as they snuck through her window. Marinette smiled and awkwardly tucked her hands behind her back.
