I wrote this story in class as a writing prompt

The prompt was
It was raining hardly outside.

It was raining hardly outside, Arthur sat by his window, tears falling down his cheeks, the rain reminded him of a fatal incident and bad memories. The death of his little brother Alfred. And he only died at age 7. Arthur could remember it. Every detail...

"Brother!Brother!" Alfred said running towards his big brother Arthur,"Hm? What is it?" Arthur turned around to face his brother,"I have something to show you!" He cheered in his toddler voice, Arthur sighed and smiled, letting his brother drag him around. They were about to cross the street, when Alfred didn't look both ways and ran into the streets,"ALFRED!!" Arthur screamed. When he saw what happened, he was absolutely petrified, Alfred had been hit.

He had never cried, and never knew he could, until that day.
