Sorry if it took so long, wolfies! I've been a little bit busy! Well, yeah summer is here yet I still have things to do.

CLAIRE

It's so quiet here. I have never been so tensed in my entire life when it comes to Lena. She is the type of girl who is bubbly, enthusiastic, and kind of sassy in some ways that you must provoke. She is strong-willed, motivated, and strong in her own terms. However; she is maneuvering the gear and fixing her eyes on the road. Usually, she talks about how she sabotaged other relationships and how many boys or men kept on chasing her because fortunately, she is really dead gorgeous. 

She is already 18 years old and is able to own her very Mini Cooper. She doesn't really like big cars-- indicating that she is single and not that much of a woman who is easy to be pleased. 

The reason why I didn't contact her for weeks was because I've been busy and she's been busy though she was really expecting for me to text or call her. We are also close cousins, by the way. Her father and my late mother were first cousins so that makes Lena and I second-degree cousins. 

Truth to be told, I haven't really understood their family. They are kind of close-minded and secretive sometimes. Well, actually my dad doesn't really mind. 

But there is this one question that keeps my mind since Valerio told me something that hit my curiosity.

"What are you?" I ask her out of the open. It slipped through my tongue but I didn't regret it.

"Your cousin and human, duh." She uses her sassy voice but I wasn't going to be deceived.

Many nights..

Many days..

I've been ruminating inside my room-- thinking how I got a mate-- thinking how a human like got a freaking mate or so if I wasn't human at all. 

Sorry if I haven't told you that I've been thinking this way for the past days and nights.

"I'm not stupid, Lena." I look at her dead in the eye even though her gaze is fixated on the road in front of her, "I know you know something. I'm not like those fictional characters who doesn't really think about the surroundings. Well, I'm not a fictional character from a book. I am someone who is confused about what is going on."

"What are you ranting about? I don't really understand why your getting infuriated." She answers again 

"I'm not.. It's just that.. I know you can keep a secret. I'm just going to tell you." I told her and I can see her nod

"Then shoot."

"I have a mate. He is a wolf. I know, I'm crazy right?"

Suddenly, she hits the brakes and looks at me in shock. 

"W-what? Mate?" Lena scans me, "you've got to be kidding, right? I've read about mates and wolves before but.. You must be hallucinating things, right?"
