I couldn't sleep well that night. My possible death always bombarded my mind. They will kill me and I don't know when. Time is unpredictable. Who knows what happens?

Lawrence let me stay inside our room while he searches for the rogues with his trackers and fighters. I forgot to mention that Leo is actually the Beta of this pack. Well, I never asked though and I knew I had to know who is who around here. Silly me.

I'm the Luna here but my existence will bring forth thousands of casualties. I am a child that was never intended to be raised into this world. My father was a rogue and my mother was not. They both share the same love but in an unforgivable time. Their love is truly dangerous and it took them extreme measures just so I can stay alive.

Depressed, I ran my fingers through my hair. I'm hungry right now. I could use a sandwich at this late hour. It's already nine in the evening and Lawrence promised to be back around nine-thirty. I hope they are doing fine with their search.

I couldn't tell dad about my state right now. He would freak out. And I can't take the risk of going to him knowing that rogues might follow. Lawrence sent bodyguards for dad in secret and since dad is human—he couldn't sense their presences.

Going down, I notice that I am all alone in here but I know there are some wolves guarding around the house. I can sense them outside the walls.

I grab two pieces of bread, one tomato, one lettuce, mayonnaise, and other ingredients. In just five bites, I managed to finish the whole sandwich. I quickly chugged down a glass of water because I feel the lettuce stuck on my throat. I sigh in satisfaction because my craving was satisfied.

I decided to go watch some tv shows while waiting for Lawrence. I turned the television on and it showed 'Asia's Next Top Model' on Star Channel. I always wished to try modeling but I know I can't do it. I'm not that showy but I can be when the situation demands it. What also know of myself is that I don't complain. I don't know why. I just don't complain. I just like taking risks and trying something new.

About 20 minutes later or so, I hear the main door opened. I quickly divert my attention from the show and saw Lawrence entering. My wolf leaped in joy inside. I really missed him since this morning.

He turned to look at me and gave me a warm smile. I stood up from the sofa and went to hug him so tight. I can feel the longing sensation around us. He also missed me that much because I can tell by the mate bond and by how he hugged me so tightly. He rested his face on the crook of my neck and inhaled my scent deeply. How I missed him so bad.

"I missed you." He says and leaves a light kiss on my neck, "I almost died knowing I'm away from you."

"But you've only been gone for hours."

"It felt like years." I feel his fangs slowly tapping on the sensitive spot of my neck.

He carried me bridal style and I just giggled. He softly lays me on the couch as he is on top of me. He caresses my cheek, gives me a soft sigh, and places his face on my neck again. I just caress his head and letting my fingers run through his soft hair.

I felt his fangs again trying to mark my neck softly. I sense a bit of hesitation.

"Do it.." I told him softly, "it's okay.."
